Scraps

Recommended Posts

I think this normally gets started by BigOrange or clogs up the main MLB thread so just making it stand alone so that we can laugh at each others horrendous predictions.  Who you got in the divisions?  Who you got in the playoffs?  MVPs, Cy Youngs? ROY?   Bold predictions?   And go......

I just don't get picking the Twins to win the ALC.  I like Berrios, but after that, their pitching staff is ass.  Pineda is hurt and overrated.  I could easily see them only winning 70-something games.

I think it’s possible if 1) Buxton and Sano play more like 2017 and less like the sub-replacement level players they were last year and 2) the Indians miscalculated how much payroll they can cut and still win. Their rotation is great, but injuries to Lindor and Ramirez give you a glimpse of a lineup that’s otherwise underwhelming and their bullpen is mediocre.

I agree with you in general though, I wouldn’t pick them.
