I know this is difficult, but try to keep up.

By the way - what happened in the 12th Century (1101-1200) that makes you repeatedly refer to that time period? What history are you reading?

  • The short-lived Almohad Caliphate and the rise of Abdallah ibn Tumart (as the Mahdi) to defeat the fundamentalist Almohad Caliphate?
  • Knight Templars decision to guard the road to Jerusalem for Crusaders?
  • Roman Catholics deciding Christians must not kill Christians with crossbows, but using a crossbow on Muslims was in keeping with the Church?
  • Portugal rejecting Moorish rule?
  • Kurdish Imad al-Din Zangi extending his power against other Muslims?
  • The failed Christian attempt to seize control over Damascus?
  • Saladin retakes Palestine, including Jerusalem, for Islam. There is no pillaging or slaughter of non-combatants – as there had been when the Crusaders took Jerusalem in 1099. There are now about 1,000 Jewish families in all of Palestine. Before the Christian crusaders and their killings the Jews numbered about 300,000. Saladin is to acquire a reputation in Europe as a chivalrous knight.
  • The beginning of the Third Crusade?
  • Richard the Lionhearted reconquers Jerusalem and slaughters 4000 Muslim prisoners of war?

Again - why did you pick the 12th Century out of all the centuries before and after the 12th Century?  It is not the century most would look at when choosing the low point of Islam (and many believe that was a horrible century for Christian ethics, morals and adherence to the message of Christ (love)).

At risk of being a pedant, Richard never retook Jerusalem, spending most of his time reinforcing the fortresses between the city and the coast and Jaffa (hence the need for the 4th Crusade).

Personally I blame Orlando Bloom.  Eva Green there for the taking and all he had to do was kill Guy.

Good thing we got rid of Saddam Hussein who, although a thug and an asshole, was a major check on Iranian power in the region. And it’s a good thing we reneged on the JPCOA so we could subvert the moderate Hassan Rouhani and help give more power back to the Iranian hardliners.

Unfortunately, we had to respond, but the administration is also trying to thread the needle to avoid escalation. Btw, the Red Sea thread has been renamed to incorporate news on this.

So I can't tell that dipshit whining about how we choose not to stop Iran's nuclear program that there was a decade long negotiation that was achieving exactly that goal, but was then scuttled by the last administration purely out of spite because someone told a joke at the White House Correspondent's dinner?  I can't post that?

I think that is allowed.

85 targets?!? sounds like a war.

Get a grip dude.

This shit is a training exercise compared to how the US fights actual wars against countries with a real military.

Gulf War 1, we bombed Iraq from January 17 - Feb 23,  over 100,000 sorties and 88,500 tons worth of bombs.

Gulf War 2, we dropped 54.6 tons of bombs in September, before Congress even authorized hostilities. We pounded them in the meantime and didn't invade until towards the end of March.

You now how aggy always screamed Texas was buying players, and we always said everyone would know if we were, and now everyone can see the truth of that due to NIL?

Everyone will know if we actually decide to go to war with Iran.

“Sir, Iran is really pissing us off.”

“Ok, let’s do something. Let’s bomb Iraq.”

“Yes sir! Wait? Wut?”

It’s the old “Alabama just committed dozens of recruiting violations….the NCAA is gonna punish the SHIT out of UAB!”
Or, you know, the bad guys here are not confined to the borders of Iran. Back in the day, we killed a shitload of Germans in places that weren’t Germany.
