It doesn't seem like you've spent any time fantasizing about this at all.

I was more commenting on the brick hard freezer shit that Trader Joe's sells by the container.

right

(truth be told I am coming around on Trader Joes)

no real recipe, its Redneck Cooking. pretty sure I posted it on this page back in the summer. Its diced onion, diced japs, salt and pepper, cornmeal, buttermilk, flour, sugar and baking powder. basically a slightly wet mix that hold together.

Wife and I just got home from a nut/striper fry at our country club.  No pics cuz I didn't do any of the cooking. I'm not sure why we don't eat calf fries at least once every couple weeks or so. Christ, they were good. Buddy and I polished off a bottle of Edradour single malt Scotch afterwards. I might sleep til kickoff tomorrow.

Wife and kids all out of the house. Wasn’t sure if H-E-B was open, so I decided to improvise based on what’s handy:

Shredded hash browns, sausage, eggs, Red Boat Fish Sauce, pasta sauce, scotch whiskey, parmesan

I can work with that. I can riff on Shakshuka.

So imma dice a sausage while I toast some cominos

Then I’ll sweat sausage and cook in the potatoes

Now I add in the red sauce, Red Boat the Rollie, and mix it all up.

Once everything is good and hot, I put 4 divots in the top, and pour an ego yolk into each.

Cook until whites are set, finish with parmesan or Furikake for umami power!

Bon appetite

No idea how this will be on tapa but I did a grilled chicken sandwich that turned out phenomenal. Started with a spicy honey mustard sauce made with stone ground mustard and hot Cajun spice. Rubbed the chicken thighs with a mixture of salt, pepper, smoked paprika, cayenne and garlic powder. Grilled and served with toasted bun, bacon, pepper jack, sliced avocado and honey mustard.

that's a lot of flavor, flip flop...

made this recipe: https://themodernproper.com/wine-braised-beef-with-mushrooms

Honestly unreal. Added a few dashes of Worcestershire and soy sauce. Less liquid left than I thought but more than the after oven picture portrays. The gravy is fucking crack and the meat was perfect.

pre oven:

finished product:

Damn that looks solid. Will make axis version this weekend.
