  1. This is the dumbest opinion in sports. There's not a different set of rules at the end of a game.

  2. This is such an aggy take. If we handle our business, which we definitely do not, it matters zero what other schools do. Texas is the only school Texas needs to worry about and we are our own worst enemy. What starts here changes the world, remember?

  3. It's partly true, there's always lots of illegals and legals in El Paso and other border towns. There are times when there's more than a lot of them. That's when the people of those towns, I can only speak for El Paso, come out and help them. Usually the city provides the shelter, the people provide the food, and they're glad to do it. It's a big operation, but one they do it every time, then things settle down and go back to normal. I think those that watch news, one in particular, get blown away by a load of bullshit that make it look like an American town is no more and Mexico has invaded, that's it's chaos. I watch that news channel every time I visit my mom and it's amazing how far they go to make everything a worse case scenario on the border. Church groups have huge cookouts every day for them. People bring water by the truck load. Families bring toys and blankets and more food. Anyways, I don't think the guy should lose his job, he should be banned from watching that news channel though.

  7. If you go back and look at film, Whit was open so many times while the ball was being forced to Worthy. I think he’d be looked at a lot differently if we had a more experienced qb who read the field better.

  8. 90% of that TCU team has never been to a bowl. They may be upperclassmen but this same team was basically 5-7 last year. Sark could not go to TCU and do this. Period. People can make alll the excuses they want for Sark. He couldn’t have walked into TCU and done this.

  9. People used to become more conservative as they aged because they became more invested in the status quo. Boomers pulled up the economic ladder and torched the planet, so we millennials haven't become more invested in their status quo. It's that simple.

  15. Asylum seekers are not β€œillegals,” so fuck that dude. Covid restrictions, (a both sides issue,) have led to a build up of asylum seekers on the border. Last week’s freeze caused El Paso’s mayor to declare an emergency, as thousands crossed the border seeking shelter to survive. Seems like the US and Mexico could work together to do more for those stuck in limbo there. Maybe. That’s what I gleaned from my Twitter feed. OU sucks.

  18. I don’t get the criticism of Whitt. I agree he’s not lived up to 5 star and he doesn’t play as fast as you’d think but he gets open, has very good hands and moves the sticks. He doesn’t pull away from defenders but he fights for yards. He plays in a part of the fields where there’s a lot of traffic. He’s less likely to have huge gains. He’s reliable, physical, high effort guy. He’s a way better number 2 receiver than Worthy is a number 1 receiver or Cain is a number 3 (or whoever we consider the no 3).

  19. If you want a clear example of why it's not working for Republicans just look at all posts, then especially the ones from Flatty and Incredulity. They immediately devolve into name callling and "own the libs." They have nothing to say otherwise. End.

  25. You get why that's my username, right? I wanted the most obvious, unimaginative moniker possible. I could have made it something generic or clever and most probably wouldn't even realize where I went to school. But I'm not embarrassed to be an Aggie...I'm embarrassed as shit of the Texags racist (no quotations necessary) boomers--and those like them--but I don't apologize for them or keep voting them into public office. Your mileage may vary. And, more importantly and funny only to me, every time I dunk on someone on here, I want them to know it was by a fucking aggy.

  29. For those that love to speculate, Worthy had a picture of him in a Texas jersey pinned on his Instagram page as of yesterday. He’s deleted it and again removed all Texas content from his social media. He did this previously after the season ended when there was speculation he was transferring.

  32. So what point are we making with Dykes? The guy who had won more than 8 games twice in his 13 year career before this year? Because if the point is coaches can evolve, get better and be evaluated by better talent then I don’t think people they are making the point they think they are. For every Sonny Dykes this year, there are 20 other first year coaches who did absolutely nothing. He’s the outlier this year, not the norm. We will see if he can sustain it. Half this board was fondling Dave Aranda and Sam Pittman’s balls at this time last year.

  33. I think it's a little of both. Gary seems to have gotten comfortable like Mack. But give Dykes credit for taking a bunch of guys who hadn't done shit but help get a HOF coach fired to the NC. Doesn't matter how he got them there. They are there and that's not something most of the name schools can say.

  35. Terry should get some credit. Benched Hunter when he was playing like shit. How many coaches do that? Saw some type of mismatch and went to Rice in the clutch. Then he didn't abandon what was working. Good coaching.

  36. Remember everyone: the dude talking about how incredibly easy it is to make it in America is the same one that will never, ever vote for a Democrat because he's petrified that a theoretical 2% drop in the O&G bottom line will get his hilariously expendable ass canned, and he's not qualified to work in any other industry that will provide him the lifestyle that he's grown accustomed to. Being an Aggie, I know a lot of dudes EXACTLY like you.

  37. FWIW - Brennan Marion just started following a couple of new WR's. The most recent is 6'5" Kansas WR Quentin Skinner. Skinner caught 26 balls for 440 yds and 5 TD's for the Jayhawks last season. He's a class of 2020 who RS'd and then saw limited action in 2021. A former walk-on he was a finalist for the Burlsworth trophy this season. As far as I can tell he's not in the portal. Yet. Certainly has the big catch radius Texas is allegedly looking for. https://kuathletics.com/roster/quentin-skinner/ Previous to Skinner, Marion started following the USF WR Xavier Weaver who announced his intent to enter the portal a few days ago. The 6'1" WR has caught 94 balls for 1400+ yards and 8 tds in the last two seasons (19 games) https://gousfbulls.com/sports/football/roster/xavier-weaver/13995

  38. We need to do everything we can to keep Worthy, he’s a special talent and even with the drops and low effort he’s a top 20 WR nationally. That being said, I don’t think I have ever disliked a player more who isn’t an actual bad guy. I almost wish he was a shithead like Evan Stewart.

  39. He’s only been healthy enough to play in 23 career games. He’s had a first year starting QB in 18 of those and a backup in the other 5. But he still has 1000+ career yards and essentially the same ypc (0.2 less) for his career as LilJordan Humphrey, another athlete take. When he’s played, he’s played winning football the vast majority of the time.

  41. Yeah, that's a really random drop of racist nonsense. And, for a guy who is not on the ground in El Paso, and is more than 1000 miles away in Raleigh, NC, to make such a remark pretty conclusively shows that he's plugged into Fox News nonstop.
