  2. Just stopped by to remind everyone what a bunch of giant pussies A&M was for not playing their bowl game while most other teams were able to find a way to play, reaffirming once again there is no bigger group of “all hat and no cattle” people than aggies.

  3. From what I’ve been able to gather he turned down the UCF OC job, Florida St co-OC and Oregon WR positions to come work with Sark. Also, Pitt boards are pretty much conceding that Addison will portal.

  5. This is the incongruity of the “my freedoms liberty!” crowd. There are some finite resources in play here: hospital beds, hospital staff, monoclonal antibody treatments. The irresponsible selfish people are hogging all of those, AT THE EXPENSE OF OTHERS. Some people are going to need the hospital for other reasons (heart attack, car wreck)….they have lost access to that resource because of the unvaxxed. Some vaccinated people (or people who legit CANNOT be vaxxed) will need monoclonals…but they’re gone, the unvaxxed already used them all. When your choice not to get vaccinated harms others, that’s not “freedom and Liberty.” It’s just plain old assholery. If you are REALLY about freedom and Liberty, and you choose not to get vaxxed, then you should also choose to bear the responsibility for your decision. Do not use hospital resources when you get sick with Covid. But they won’t do that. Because their real philosophy is “freedom for me, consequences for thee.” Party of personal responsibility my ass.

  8. More OU fan-fiction. Players play at OU for the name on the front of the jersey. Caleb Williams wanted to walk-on so they could give his scholarship to a kid with spina bifida. Lincoln Riley was holding the offense back. Brent Venables is the savior who will lead them out of the Lincoln Riley football desert. Riley leaving gave that entire fanbase a psychotic break - and they have created this group delusion about the whole situation. The simple fact is that OU got dumped and now they're trying to argue that the 4 they were with previously is hotter than the 9 that dumped them because the ex has a great personality.

  9. If Banks was the only OT to volunteer to play on the right side...well, that sounds like something I'd expect out of a team player like Roschon Johnson. In other words: do like.

  10. Yeah, really weird how Donald Trump is more frequently discussed in a politics forum in 2021 than Bill Clinton. I was similarly flummoxed when the West Mall frequently discussed Bill Clinton more than Ronald Reagan in 2001. Just a real puzzler.

  13. Got dam. I quit posting for a month and we sign one of the best QB prospects in the last 20 years and by far the best OL class we've ever had while also making massive upgrades at WR and RB coach. I'm really not sure if any program in the last couple decades has signed a better QB and OL group in one class. I guess I should stay away until we pull in Addison, an All-Conference LT, LB, TE, and S too. There's no doubt we've made massive upgrades on offense, though the 2022 OL is still a pretty big question mark and we don't have much of an infusion of talent ready to go in 2022 on defense while bringing back the same defensive staff from one of the worst defenses in school history. I think Finkley, Brooks, Allen, and Watts could be ready to be strong contributors next season, but we still need some more help at edge, ILB and probably safety depending on where Cook and Watts play. Making at least one change on the defensive coaching staff would be nice too, but seems like that wont happen, unless we add GP as an analyst.

  14. Someone who ‘leans conservative’ posting a *TikTok video as proof of senility is not very conservative at all. A conservative would not view this shit without the usual conservative attributes of cautiousness, moderation, and skepticism and check out the source, which is from a CNN Town Hall hosted by Don Lemon on July 21, 2021 as the Delta variant was beginning to take hold nationwide. The general topic of the forum (from which the video clip is taken) was regarding vaccine misinformation. The audience, comprised of Ohio residents both Republican and Democratic, were able to ask questions and the clip in the video is edited such that the question, “How do you change the mistrust in the system among some members of the black community?” is omitted as is part of the President’s answer. So, when the President is turning to the host and asking if he’s vaccinated, he is not speaking to Lemon, per se, he is in the middle of a scenario describing what some trusted members of the community do when talking about vaccines with others. (the question, posed by Lemon, was based upon a married couple in the audience who asked about vaccine hestitation.) Here is a link: https://www.cnn.com/2021/07/21/politics/full-president-joe-biden-cnn-town-hall-july-21/index.html It is the first video, titled: Biden explains....the relevant part begins at 16:04 or close to it. This source took me less than five minutes to locate, find the relevant information, and also to note that the closed caption option on CNN is much better than the TikTok poster because it not only spelled interlocutor correctly, but also "neighbor" and not ‘neighbour’ like in the TikTok video which is not the preferred American spelling. Listening to the video, one can hear the pronunciation of interlocutor clearly enough, despite Biden’s impediment which does accelerate when he is speaking off the cuff which he was for this forum. In the time it took me to type this, those five syllables are likely still rattling around the empty expanse of brain pans determined to find fault with some of the stupidest shit and that is really just not only not conservative (although it is not limited to people who claim they are), but it is time poorly spent. *if you have TikTok, it would be a public service if you would delete it as its algorithm is similar to Facebook/Meta/ Popularity Pablum and if you view shit, it will send you more shit just like that shit and while it may not be spyware per se, it is a foreign entity that uses data in aggregate to send you that shit and thus may not be in your best interest, conservatively. Peace.

  17. Another lame ass fucking semifinals and pointless ass season just to see the same bullshit at the end. Don't ever say college football is better than the NFL. They kick it up a notch come playoff time. And their regular season actually has meaning. 90% of college games have zero impact on anything and then get to play a glorified scrimmage after the season. Play a whole season to see the same exact group of teams play. the talent is so unbalanced it isn't even funny. I can't think of a sport right now as backwards as college football. Most sports, the playoffs mean it gets tense and exciting. Not college football. It's time for Cheez It and Mayo Bowls. I get the NFL and other sports has dynasties but at least they have to battle it out to get there. They can't just load up on a whole roster of 4-5 star talent and just out talent 95% of their games. And no, just because these semifinals games suck, doesn't mean we should not expand. Under the BCS, the national championship would be Bama/Michigan, which Bama wins by 3 scores. Georgia would have been left out. Expanding could open up recruiting. Now days, kids know if you don't go to Bama, Georgia, Clemson, OU, Ohio St, your shot of playing in the playoffs are slim. We'll see if the NIL can somewhat level the field but I doubt it.

  20. hate this idea and i never drive after drinking a single alcoholic beverage. all those technology examples are just leaving the door open for abuse / confusion. passively sampling air? what if you shithead passenger is shit faced? what if someone spilt beer on you earlier? cameras looking for signs of drunkness? what if you are a stroke survivor or have random face / eye issue? hell, it’s been proven that facial recognition has issues with BIPOCs. do you really trust it not to passively discriminate? what if it fucks up in an emergency situation? do you really want your car not staring due to thinking you a drunk while your new born is having medical emergency?

  27. The hospital I transport to is full. I don’t recall it being this bad at any point in the last two years. The halls look like something out of a third world country. They had wheelchairs in the triage area because they ran out of regular chairs for people. Are all of these people in need of a hospital? Highly unlikely, but they’re swamping the system again and it’s unlike anything I’ve seen in my decade of doing this. I worked Wednesday at my children’s hospital. Mom brought one kid in for possible flu, but she brought the other 4 siblings who were not sick and dad/father figure with her. Kid tested positive for Covid. And they were in my ER spreading their germs everywhere, not wearing masks, and not staying in their room. This happens multiple times a day at my facility and I’m sure at facilities all over the country. The lack of recourse for hospitals having to deal with stupidity like this is making it all the more worse for everyone. I could write a book about the stupidity I deal with on a daily basis, and unless you came to work with me there’s no way you would believe most of it. I shouldn’t have to give you a ride in an ambulance to a hospital because you got a splinter. Or because you got bit by a fire ant. You’re 26 years old and have no history of being allergic to fire ants, and you’re not experiencing any signs and symptoms of anaphylaxis, but because you want to go I now have to give you a ride in a fucking ambulance to the ER so that you can tie up vital resources that may be needed for a real emergency. Tldr\; The flu, the latest variant, and the uptick in bitchassness from the general population is making this the biggest surge I’ve seen thus far.

  33. I think they should actually only report on vaccinated statistics from now on and if you want unvaxxed stats they should be available after digging. All these cases are a big nothing burger with the vaccine, especially with the boosted folks. No one freaks out about the cold and with the vaccine that's essentially what this has turned into.
