  1. I once told a tow truck driver that I would give him $100 to not tow me if he followed me to C-Mart and let me hit the ATM. I saw an opprotunity with a red light at Rio Grande, ran it, and lost him. I tend to not be too judgy on college kids and misdemeanors.

Some guys are on fire by the spotlight and some guys are blinded by it. That shit cannot be coached.

  12. Parking oppression by UTPD is a known and decades long issue for us who attended UT. Back when the SMU Pony Express was coming to town I had my Student Tickets suspended. Being a strong climber, who frequently trained on the cement cracks on DKR, I chose to climb into the stadium up a 40 foot crack behind a tree, sneaking into the old Section 26U. It had a dangerous 5.11 crux move at the lip to top out and I got away with it. Only to see Eric Dickerson and Craig Whore Killa James run the ball down our thoats. I also climbed in for the last SWC ArkiePig-Texas game. They filled in all my climbing cracks during the DKR upgrades and after a Texas Monthly article featured me climbing one of those cracks. You will not win when you mess with UTPD! They also arrested me when I climbed the crack between the Old DKR and the Upper Deck on the 100th Birthday of UT. They did not like me climbing on DKR. 🤘

  13. Say what you want about Bobby Burton, but he practices discretion when it comes to "sensitive" topics surrounding our athletics program. Burton won't report on something like this until it's officially official. He's also an alum and more importantly, not a shitheel like FCB.

  14. People on other sites are acting like the kid is a murderer. He took off a damn boot. Something most people on here have wanted to do. It’s a zero bail offense. He will pay for the boot and get a parking pass and this will be forgiven. FCB couldn’t wait to post the info and swear that it proves he was right to release that report last week.

  20. And what later became of that tow truck driver? He started fucking underaged boys, then became a shaggy poster, and proceeded to go on a spree of throwing rocks through car windshields off overpasses and the upper deck of I-35. How do you live with all that in your conscience, asshole?

  22. I don’t mind taking a chance on a talent like Hall and also cutting his ass if he just can’t be anything but an immature malcontent. Especially in this day and age when the numbers aren’t relevant. I actually hope they keep doing this because they’ll find some who just needed a scenery change and produce. Hell, there’s a shot that’s the story this cycle where they took both Billingsley and Hall and Billingsley seems to have new life while Hall shit the bed.

  23. One's enough. Cuff the motherfucker. He's a sure flight risk. Remand the motherfucker. Put him in his pal Epstein's cell in either Florida or New York. If anyone takes up arms to threaten the peace and safety of the common good, hose those motherfuckers with military ammunition. The idiot stepped too far out of bounds to avoid immediate penalty. No delaying lawsuits can keep him out of custody. They will happen after custody. Follow the normal course of criminal arrest and prosecution. He's not the president. He's a(n alleged) common felon. If pursuit of legal prosecution is too much for his adherents, follow the law with them as well. This is our door to get out of the political arena and all of its shady areas that Trump can exploit. Cuff him. Jail him. Prosecute him. Determine his guilt. Imprison or hang him in accordance with the law. There are no Mitch McConnels or Gym Jordans to disrupt the process. Fucking do it.

  24. By: Justin and Gerry From the road in Florida and Louisiana There is a similarity between Texas commitments Cedric Baxter Jr. (Orlando/Edgewater) and Derek Williams (New Iberia, La./Westgate). Both are top-30 ranked prospects in the On300, and neither are close to being finished products physically. There is plenty of physical upside remaining for two of the top prospects in the country. Both guys will add 10-20-pounds of pure muscle and definition to their frames. In the case of Williams, he may have as much physical upside as any prospect in the country in the class. Inside Texas was informed Thursday that his father is 6-foot-5/6-foot-6, and his mother is 5-foot-11/6-feet. The 6-foot-0.5, 180-pounder with long arms doesn’t turn 18 until January, and has the look in person of a prospect that is not done growing. Westgate head coach Ryan Antoine thinks his star playmaker could end up being 6-2/6-3 and 220+ pounds in time. If that ended up being the case, Williams would end up being one of the top players in the 2023 cycle in three or four years headed into NFL Draft time. He has twitch and burst, and is an instinctive playmaker. As far as Williams’ recruitment, after interviewing him prior to practice, he sounded like a prospect Texas will have to recruit through the whistle. And while that may be the case due to being one of the top prospects in the country, his commitment is solid per those close. Texas defensive backs coach Terry Joseph and head coach Steve Sarkisian received rave reviews from the Westgate staff. With LSU and Alabama loading up on safeties/defensive backs, Miami could stand the best chance to pull an upset. Texas A&M and Florida are also trying very hard. Florida defensive backs coach Corey Raymond is very close to the Westgate staff. As in, very close. But the Gators aren’t considered a true threat as of now. That would be LSU and Miami, as of today. With that said, Texas fans should feel good about Williams’ commitment status. He plans to be at the Alabama game September 10. Watching Arch Manning (New Orleans/Isidore Newman) up close Thursday, the “overrated” bull crap needs to stop. I get that people are going to try and tear down the top prospect with a famous name. It's par for the course. But Manning is entering his senior season an even more advanced leader, retained the same athleticism as last year with more muscle/weight on his frame, has easily the best release in the cycle, more arm strength than given credit for with continued strength building in the legs and core, and is naturally accurate. He will be forced to play under quite a bit of duress again this season, so fans and people in the industry have to understand that. And that will make him a better quarterback at the college level. I would tell people in the industry that instead of guessing and looking for clicks and retweets, go watch him in person and talk to the Newman quarterback and offensive coordinator staff in depth. Give it a try! Manning is not doing interviews prior to the first game of the season. The reason is simple, those around Arch want him to enjoy being a senior football player with his teammates. Peyton said as much at the Manning Passing Academy after Arch committed. I did get the opportunity to chat with Manning and Will Randle for about ten minutes before and after practice Thursday. Here's what I can tell you, both are very excited about being Texas Longhorns. We talked about Cedric Baxter Jr's announcement. I was asked what I though about Payton Kirkland after seeing him, as Manning and Randle saw he was at Baxter's announcement. A couple of the Texas freshmen offensive linemen were mentioned. One having been very impressive thus far per the duo, and another that is learning a new position and taking in a lot of information learning the playbook and calls. There is a genuine excitement around the Isidore Newman program that Manning and Randle are headed to Texas. And in the 2025 class at Isidore Newman, offensive tackle Brett Bordelon is serious about Texas despite having serious LSU connections, including brother Bo Bordelon. The LSU freshman is running second team left tackle for the Tigers. Another recruit very interested in what Texas’ 2023 class is building is tight end Duce Robinson, Phoenix (Ariz) Pinnacle. The On3 five-star is a prospect in football and baseball, where he recently performed at an Area Code baseball showcase. Sources close to his recruitment says USC and Texas are his top two schools and he’s eager to set an official visit to Austin. Texas baseball coaches are interested in the despite Texas having two tight ends in the 2023 class - Will Randle and Spencer Shannon. Robinson is a no-brainer take regardless. Something about Robinsons from Arizona. After snagging Baxter, Texas reached out to Jerrick Gibson. The 2024 Jonesboro (GA) Mundys Mill four-star and On3 No. 2 running back and the Longhorns continue to build a strong connection spearheaded by Tashard Choice. Georgia, Alabama, and Florida are in the mix. It wouldn’t be a surprise to see Gibson at a Texas game this fall. The SEC move is notable to Gibson. He was on campus in June. Texas is a genuine threat.

  26. This is exactly what they did. Hall is a different kind of cat, and they wanted to see if perhaps the Texas approach worked in a way the Saban approach did not. Sark knew Hall would need to be managed a little differently and was willing to try to meet him, but only to an extent. There was an appreciation that going too far into coddling territory would be harmful to trust and team chemistry and accountability. Hall was handled with a lot of input from the player leadership council because of these fears and wanting to stay in step with the team. As I've alluded to before, Hall did not have a smooth transition and has been emotionally immature in many ways his entire time in Austin. He was already being given more chances than usual and was on very thin ice before this incident.

  27. The Saudis financed 9/11. And in 20 short years we have the ‘most patriotic’ trash in this country supporting a President doling out state secrets, including nuclear tech, to those same Saudis. I’m sure the aliens have already stopped watching earth, season 2022. Or maybe it’s like GoT, they’re so invested they watch all the way through… while bitching the entire time about the horrible writing and giant holes in the plot.

  30. There is simply no reason for it to retain those materials unless to sell it. He's not intellectually curious. Would I like to read up CONPLAN 8044-2018? Sure. But Donald Trump couldn't read his PDB; there's no chance he's taking thousands and thousands of pages to read simply because he finds them interesting. Nor did he take the documents to just put on the mantle. I could see him taking gifts that various foreign leaders had given him and putting them around Mar a Lago. But this isn't that. You don't take visitors down and show them the schematics for the W87-1. Nobody would understand it, and anyway, what's the fucking point? Everyone knows you were president and as such had access to the holiest of holies. It doesn't impress anyone more to see that you still have it. No--the only reason for him to retain these documents is for him to sell them. We probably can't prove that he was trying to or that he was going to. But I have no doubt that that was his intent.

  32. Trump is the master of disinformation. There’s nothing there to find and if there was it was planted. And also it was already declassified anyway. This is the Russian Malaysia airlines playbook. The point is not even to build a realistic narrative, it’s to confuse the simpletons enough that they just get angry and believe it’s all unknowable.

  33. Was back in my day which was the 70s-90s. Climbed a bunch of stuff on UT Campus including Jester and Perry Castaneda Library. I was also arrested for attempting to climb the State Capitol while some Farm Workers were on a hunger strike on the steps. I have photos of it all so I can prove it.🤘Alex Hannold is on a whole other level and I have friends who have climbed with him. Some of my stories: https://www.commonclimber.com/james-crump.html
