βAmericanβ cuisine stacks up against anything the world has to offer. Jambalaya, clam chowder, gumbo, Texas BBQ, Tex-Mex enchiladas, soul food, west coast seafood, American beef steak, chili, green chile enchiladas, cornbread, cioppinoβ¦.These are our foods and they are as good and as authentically ours as anything the old world has to offer. Foreigners, especially from Europe, canβt conceptualize the size. I got married in the RGV and had a friend from Switzerland who came. He mentioned he was interested to see San Antonio. I explained I wouldnβt have time around the wedding but could help him plan for after if he wanted to stay and he said βcanβt I just take a bicycle up there one day?β Many Europeans appreciate our natural beauty more than we do. Europe has amazing scenery but we do not appreciate how much of our continent is still wild in a way that is gone on the old continent. Our National Parks are our American cathedrals and castles.19 points

Marion has been trying/begging for an OC job for months. He literally would have taken ANY OC job available. For a while in December he basically stopped recruiting because all he was focused on was getting a new job. He got his ass back focused when he realized he was getting a job at the time but he been focused on himself for a while. Good recruiter, good relationship builder but did a bad job holding that WR accountable. Some of that is on Sark as well but Marion let Worthy get away with whatever. Our receivers didnβt improve this year and Worthy actually played better under the last coach. There will be people in that room happy with this move. Hopefully Sark has somebody lined up.18 points

Marion is a gimmicky self promoter that didnβt add a ton. Thereβs a reason why youβve heard the βgogoβ offense so much and it certainly isnβt because we actually utilized any of it. Maybe he can lose the cowboy hat now. Also wouldnβt shock me if we hired Marcus Arroyo in a basic βswapβ16 points

Please explain the rationale for the second stupid comment. Ukraine should fall to the murdering, torturing, raping, genocidal Russians because Germany and France decides not to give any more money for whatever Germany France reasons? America canβt have its own financial reasons for doing something, using its own financial resources, separate from Europe? I donβt know man - you sound kind of one world government to me.12 points

Rooting for TCU. Obviously was hoping weβd be the first in the state to make it to the MNC/CFP. My dad for many years before he passed away (most know he died in 2005 during our MNC run) was a member of the horned lizard conservation society. The horny toad is endangered. Luckily we have a ton on our ranch in the Panhandle because we donβt use pesticides (kills their main food source red ants.) anywayβ¦my dad gave me this pin in 2004 (he got something for all his donations to the society) and Iβll be wearing it Monday night watching the game from home like pretty much all of yβall. Go Frogs! Kick some ass! My dad would have been pissed that we werenβt in it this year but other than Baylor or aggy heβd have rooted for any other school from Texas to win the MNC if theyβd made it that far.11 points

From Reddit. TLDR: Wash St dude has 4 year old son who loves longhorn cattle and the color orange. Kid sees a Longhorn logo and immediately likes the Longhorns. Says Bevo is the "best name he's ever heard", and loves Ewers mullet, "best hair he's ever seen." Dad is perplexed and posts on /r/CFB. Longhorns on CFB forward to CDC. CDC/AD sends merch and offers tickets to a game this year. Pretty damned cool. Summary thread. Iβm having some trouble understanding Olinβs contention that 7 points would make their record go from 5-7 to 10-2. Iβm sitting here trying to figure out how 7 points could convert 5 losses into 5 wins. Even if all 5 losses were by 1 point each, that means that 5 points are required just to convert them into 5 ties. So how does the remaining 2 points get you from 5 ties to 5 wins? Are they able to use fractions of a point in their games somehow? Anyway, their closest loss this season was by 3 points so it still doesnβt make sense. I guess he actually means 7 points in each of the 5 games, which would actually be 35 points? They scored a total of 273 points during the season so in that case heβs asking them to increase their season scoring output by about 13%. In the 5 close losses they scored a total of 134 points, just under 27 points per game. So yeah if they had just scored 25% more points in those 5 losses they would have been 10-2 with losses to unranked Mississippi state and Florida. so close! (To a season that still wouldnβt have justified their preseason ranking)8 points
