  1. Man some of those guys had such hype and were long hard fought recruitments. Broughton was supposed to be a stud. Collins had NFL potential. Hookfin, Ibrahim, and Coffey were supposed to be starters.
  2. What's crazy is that there's still guys that entered the portal last fall that have not yet landed anywhere. Like nobody is even giving guys like Adimora, Rafiti, and Adeoye a look.
  3. Should be fine a K. This dude looks solid https://twitter.com/_willstone_/status/1384287218886320134?s=20&t=Itw8BERonrGHJxQEww7vUw
  4. I think we have a scholarship kicker coming so Auburn will likely be backup.
  5. Reminds me of that one year where Mack started Mock over VY.
  6. The second-team O-line was: Michael Balis at left tackle, Sawyer Goram-Welch at left guard, Logan Parr at center, Max Merril at right guard and Jaylen Garth at right tackle
  7. It sucks that he goes from all this to hiding out in a Cinnabon in Nebraska.
  8. The whole airport design is awful. Routing everyone through the central hall and onto those trains is nonsensical. They are always down too
  9. Clear line here in Denver is as long as TSA pre for some reason
  10. The only reason there's any interest at all is to get first look at Ewers.
  11. I don't know. He's not going to like having to sit behind Luke Brockermeyer.
  12. Ok so apparently Hookfin had a serious motorcycle injury and fractured his collarbone, arm, and had some broken ribs. Cross him off the list. High upside guy who is unlikely to contribute now. https://www.hookem.com/story/sports/football/2021/12/02/texas-football-isaiah-hookfin-injured-motorcycle-accident/8844728002/
  13. I think we'll be fine. This Hookfin dude supposedly has a ton of upside. Sam Cosmi 2.0.
  14. That one good season from Aranda last year includes a Big 12 championship and is better than anything we've put together since 2009.
  15. It's frustrating watching Baylor knock it out of the park on two straight hires with Rhule and Aranda while we continue to flounder under Strong, Herman, and now Sark. Even LSU wasn't playing around and paid top $ for a proven winner in Brian Kelly, while we went dumpster diving for Seven Loss Steve.
  16. One time in Ireland I convinced my 18 month old son that quiche was Mac and cheese and he ate it. So this hits close to home.

  18. Going back to the original point of what happens when normal people get priced out. I've seen what happened to SF when the nerds took over and ripped the soul out of the City. Started with the Google and Facebook buses, then quickly the Mission turned, and then other neighborhoods followed. It does feel as though Austin is kind of teetering along those same lines where the demographics are turning homogenous.
