  1. This is the exact same excuse A&M fans used after the 2022 season. "It was a super young team!!1!" Jimbo lasted just ten more games.
  2. (Scipio Tex) 2025 Florida Gators Post Mortem: Defense/Special Teams
  3. Oregon's current starting RT is a transfer from Texas State as well. They clearly did a much better job of self-scouting their O-line and addressing its weaknesses than we did.
  4. (Ian Boyd) Five quick thoughts: The Longhorns get gator-rolled in the Swamp
  5. (Gerald Goodridge) Florida 29, No. 9 Texas 21: Three things we learned Ralph Russo: Gators wreak havoc on Arch Manning to down No. 9 Longhorns 29-21
  6. this sounds familiar, and not in a good way
  7. So did Manning actually improve, or did every other position on the team regress so badly it made Manning’s struggles stand out less and give the illusion of improvement? He still missed open WRs. He still displayed terrible game IQ on the last clutch drive. Can you point to one concrete issue with his game that he's fixed? Or are we just seeing him run for his life behind a dismal O-line and reflexively thinking "he'd be good with better protection" even though we've SEEN him struggle badly with better protection earlier in the year? Arch wasn't the main reason we lost today, sure. But that doesn't necessarily mean he's improved. Just that other position groups sucked worse.
  8. So far. Lots of season left, against much better teams.
  9. They barely threw the fucking ball all drive.
  10. What the fuck are our LBs doing
  11. Iowa fan? I know they have their own version.
  12. Unfortunate timing. The big Swatch Group brands (Omega, Tissot, Longines, etc.) increased their prices on October 1st due to the ongoing tariff situation. They probably ran out of the pre-tariff stock they had shipped to the States. As far as I know, Rolex, AP and Breitling haven't done the same... yet.

  14. Ian Boyd: Can Texas’ offense crack Florida’s bend-but-don’t-break defense?
  15. Did you end up pulling the trigger? I've had my eye on the Black Bay 58 925 for a little while now. Silver watches are rare these days, and Tudor claims that the alloy they use doesn't tarnish. And the grey-taupe colour scheme is damn nice. One thing that gives me pause is the exhibition caseback, which gives it a little extra thickness and feels odd for a Tudor to have.
  16. Update: Exactly 1 year from purchase and initial synchronization, the watch is +1.9 seconds ahead of NIST time. Pretty damn fantastic. Will be interesting to see how the accuracy and thermocompensation hold up as the movement ages. I didn't take measurements very often throughout the year, but from what I could tell the rate of deviation definitely slowed down during the cooler winter months. Citizen's A010 and A060 calibres (rated at ±5 sec./year) perform TC correction roughly once every 24 hours, compared to ETA's PreciDrive movement which does it every 16 minutes. Presumably the Citizen movements have larger correction intervals to save energy, since they are solar-powered. I haven't checked the accuracy in different positions; Citizen's newest 0100 calibre (rated at ±1 sec./year) uses an 8.4 MHz AT-cut crystal with negligible positional variance, but the older A010 calibre uses a 32 KHz XY-cut crystal that can vary by up to 2 seconds a year in different positions. Outside of Hoptroff's CSAC watches which each contain a miniaturized atomic clock inside, you won't find watches more intrinsically accurate than these.
  17. Bobby Burton has hinted that other SEC coaches are not nearly as honest as Sark is when it comes to injury reports. Presumably Napier falls into that group
  18. India just won their ninth Asia Cup with a perfect record, including a 3-0 whitewash of Pakistan 😁
