  1. Lol. No idea if this is really professor Chesney, but, if not, well done on the name. If actually professor Chesney, props to you for posting and contributing to Burnt Ends.
  2. I would imagine/hope that the money for dead weight is paid less than our special teamers, so they wouldn't be just sitting back collecting six figures.
  3. I would assume that would be to pair up with Raymond, but hopefully Kelly only wants his guys and lets Raymond go.
  4. Not that I agree with keeping PK on staff, but I could see him being kept so as to not cause alarm that the entire defensive staff is shitty (especially if he was involved with the defensive line recruiting). Have you heard any hesitancy with respect to position coaches like Joseph or Coleman (is Sark another Herman in wanting to keep his guys)?
  5. Just went back and listened to Sark's comments they're all butthurt about. Like has been said, it if was intentional, that's gold. I'm more fascinated that Liucci indirectly made Sark's point for him. Jimbo's first year at aggy (9-4 including a bowl win) and all the years since is pretty similar to every aggy season since 2013 (7 or 8 regular season wins), but Jimbo has been faring better in bowl games than late Sumlin, so he's maintained the status quo pretty well without really improving all that much despite the really good recruiting. I'd be happy to trade places with them, but he never ceases to amaze me.
  6. Just to make sure I can put myself out of misery. Is there any way that Ewers would transfer to A&M and Stewart knows about that? They are close enough (had that "private" throwing session way back when with a couple other WRs the 9.95erts attended) that it wouldn't surprise me if Stewart knew if that's what Ewers was thinking. I obviously get the $250k angle, but it's still a long-term boneheaded decision in terms of development for the NFL for the real money.
  7. Roach: "Spoke to a source today who feels Guilbeau will ultimately end up back at Texas. Not sure yet if this is that, but i'm checking."
  8. I know this topic has likely been discussed on the board, so apologies for bring up old shit, but I missed a bit on here this fall. Why couldn't we Burnt Ends our way to crowd-sourcing some high school OL recruits that aren't in-state? I know you can't make any NIL money contingent on them signing with us, but I thought Quinn left early so that he could get that $1MM endorsement deal of whatever because Texas was one of the few states that wouldn't let kids in high school take advantage. If there are other states out there that do (maybe Washington), would it be possible to put together some money and let Malik Agbo know that we're a high brow establishment that likes to sponsor/interview (whatever the necessary conditions would be) elite high school offensive lineman that have verbally committed to UT "that are the future of the program" (or some fluffy bullshit). Obviously there's no guarantee that comes with paying him that money, but that's a crowdsourced bet I'm willing to take.
  9. They're just looking ahead to his victory speech after the Sugar Bowl, Fiesta Bowl or CFP Championship.
