  1. And he's wasn't amazing then either. We totally ignored the warning signs against Miss St
  2. my issue too. he can make the great play but is so bad at the basic stuff. it's infuriating.
  3. Have you not seen me clearly say multiple times he's a fucking problem? His coaching, his recruiting, his decisions to keep Flood...that's him. I just will not let you people pretend that those of us that see Arch is NOT good, are in the wrong by blaming him at all.
  4. Fucking this. My whole thing isn't that I think someone else is "better". I don't think the backup can make the plays Arch does...but I'm also not sure he CAN'T hit the basic throws that Arch misses way too much.
  5. Funny...the Cowboys would be too, if not 6-1
  6. It is surly, so yeah, you're probably right. But if you read any of these threads you'll pretty smart posters all but doing flips to excuse everything wrong with him and blame the OL and Sark and the WR's and give him a pass. I do NOT think the offense will be "fine" with another QB. I do think it's is POSSIBLE they could be better, even if slightly so, with a QB who could make the most basic throws that Arch is missing. And I never said that about the OL last year. I thought Ewers struggled with the deep ball(he does) and had happy feet, and took sacks. I thought Arch would be better by improving in those areas. He has...but he doesn't have the same accuracy as Ewers did, or the touch on the screens and short to middle passing that Ewers did. Yeah if fucking funny. Could just be bad recruiting/evaluations (BTW OSU sorta gave up on Ewers too...so maybe it's not just that Sark couldn't' coach him up) And I've clearly said I think Sark a problem...but I'm just not going to excuse Arch when he can't complete simple passes either like some will.
  7. Probably nostalgia but i can still watch it.
  8. Never said it wasn't...but I will continue to say Sark isn't making Arch miss wide open WR's even when they're standing still and he's got a clean pocket. I am in now way, shape, or form, excusing Sark for anything. But even when he gives Arch "easy throws" Arch misses them. That's all i've been saying and why I want to know what the offense looks like with a QB who can make the basic plays any college QB can make.
  9. Yeah even i said that's a strange take...the original was damn near perfect.
  10. Oh a lot of us blame both. The issue is those who flat out refuse to see Arch struggling a lot due to his own performance, instead of placing every single fault on Sark(he has enough to be blamed for honestly).
  11. Which was my point...someone calling that a drop is fucking silly. And I'm sorry getting 2 hands on it sounds so fucking easily said when the guy is running full speed the opposite way and has to reach back fully extended to even get his hands to attempt the catch. That's why i think the "wingo sucks cause he can't catch" narrative was stupid too.
  12. Which is what I said...I'd ONLY be down for it if it was a long term piece and NOT a Rental, even if it were a Pickens impactful rental. I would gladly take a 1st-3rd on a real proven player who's locked up for 2-3 more years than hoping a rookie hits. and you KNOW our track record wtih 2nd rounders being tossed for "first rounders if healthy" type players.
  13. which pass hit Wingo in the hands that he dropped? and please don't tell me it was the crosser a foot or two behind him that he really had no chance to catch and doesn't even count as a "drop"
  14. All he does is catch the ball and TD's for 2 yards. Also I know this season probably is a lost cause in the end due to the defense and a rough schedule coming up. But I really wouldn't mind them making a trade or two...even if it's one of those extra first or a high 2nd/3rd rounder. Not for a "Rental" who you're not going keep...not for a guy for just this year. But for like a Max Crosby type? He's not as good as Micah, but is only 28, and signed through 2029? I'd do that. Even if it's a guy on with 1 year left like Pickens who you could seriously consider resigning. A good player who can truly help. They definitely need a Pass rusher, a LB, and a DB/Safety. They got the assets...and hell they want Diggs gone, see what you can get for him. A middle round pick or a starting caliber LB or some shit.
  15. How do you even know that? And even IF that's the case, that's an easy 5-8 yard completion if not more if he's elusive enough.
  16. A couple? He also was late throwing a sure TD pass early in that game making them settle for a FG. Even in the OU game, where he played good, not great...he wasn't lighting it up. I had hoped it was a stepping stone to improvement, and he was worse against Kentucky. I'm not saying he's some bum, or will never get any better...but he's failing at the most simplest of things for a QB, and while some want to place everything at the feet of the OL, WR's, and Sark...you're blind if you're not seeing him struggle to complete the simplest passes.
  17. I think a 9-7-1 team has a chance. But that still means going 6-4
  18. Broncos gonna win?
  19. Needed it. That carolina loss is haunting.
  20. Why is Dak playing if none of his WRs are?
  21. Oh yes they were. They new where the sun would be and kept it that way.
  22. Are they actually going to punt it? He could hit this. Fuck you Shotty. 2 give up runs only to punt it? in madder about this than anything else today. And our punter got killed with no flag.
  23. Fucking 2nd and 20 give up run. Just punt it now.
  24. can Dak take off once without them holding. Jesus
  25. I’m not sure it’s that as much as they’re missing a lot of weapons. I mean old ass ertz is torching us.
