  1. OK, I read the article. Well, scanned it enough to get the gist of the guy's complaint. He sounds like a bitch who is good at citing statistics. Apparently it never occurred to him or any of his friends that maybe they aren't "all that" and that's the reason he's not getting what he wants out of life. Maybe race and gender hiring has impacted his life but as people have mentioned, it's just a centuries-long built-in advantage that's going away. Did I miss something?
  2. They have merch section, for some reason. Anyone know the story here? Is this like "Herman and The Uncooperative Sledgehammer?" Also, note that the T-shirt doesn't come in maroon, which makes sense. Actually, it makes no sense.

  5. Hot take: The first time I heard Kernkraft 400 Zombie Nation was when Texas played UCF in their first ever game on their new stadium. We should leave the amplified music to schools like that. We have the Showband of the Southwest and should let them play all the music. Period. Also: "Lil Baby Diaper" is pretty funny "before college football became a huge financial racketeering scheme" is pretty accurate.
  6. Hmmm . . . some confrontation on the sideline with Oregon? Who remembers this?
  7. JMU is throwing the ball and running their usual offense (just not very well). I guess they are going to fully enjoy being in the moment.
  8. I'm digging that flag mural.
  9. The guys who can kick field goals are playing in the blowout games, not the close ones.
  10. And beaten at least one good team during the season.
  11. Somehow someone figured if it works for basketball, it'll work for football. However: College football teams - 100 to 120 players College basketball - 12 -14 players The smaller the number the more likely the parity. But, I'm certainly glad we'll have "Cheeze-it" on our resume.
  12. This. JMU has had the angle a few times and just gotten blown away. The score will be what Lanning says it will be.
  13. This is a powerhouse team scheduling an early season patsy, giving them more money than they make in their home stadium, then beating the hell out of them, right? What month is it anyway?
