  1. You know what divine intervention is? That means God came down from Heaven and stopped the bullets.
  2. No HRs in the past two games either. Just timely base hits
  3. Even with the slow start last year, he was one a the few players on the team that produced in the playoffs. He earned last year's salary at least.
  4. I like to sit with the common folk, creep on the ladies, and pay for overpriced drinks at the airport bar at times. Some of them are pretty nice.
  5. Catania is a bitch to drive in the traffic and hills. You need to be aggressive Taormina and Palermo aren't bad.
  6. No way I was voting for her. Half the City of Houston would have resigned due to her behavior. Might have been a better option in hindsight.
  7. I'm having regrets for voting Whitmire. The city already spent millions of dollars preparing to move into a very nice new library, but now he decides on his own to renovate an old dilapidated library at the cost of 14.5 million because it's close to a bar that used to host drag shows. This isn't the first time he decided to make changes without local councilmember and residents input. He's also fucking up the plans to rebuild Montrose Blvd. https://houstonlanding.org/stakeholders-stunned-by-mayors-announcement-that-montrose-library-move-is-off-the-table/ The Montrose Library’s long-planned move to the Montrose Collective on Westheimer Road — to which the city has already dedicated millions of dollars — is officially off the table. The announcement from Mayor John Whitmire during a Tuesday morning press conference came as a surprise to many, including City Councilmember Abbie Kamin, whose District C includes Montrose; Steve Radom, the developer behind the Montrose Collective; and many library employees. He said relocating the library to Westheimer would position it “very close to adult entertainment, on the third story of a commercial building, behind the hamburger building. When I saw it, I said, ‘Not on my watch.’”
  8. Stros 2 1/2 games out!
  9. WTF? This area is probably one of the safest areas in the city.
  10. NFL mock drafts
  11. NFL mock drafts ctrl-alt-del is obsolete these days. You can just hit the space bar and it's just a secure. Even more secure these days with Windows Hello
  12. Bitwarden. I use the free service, but I'm solo.
  13. Not TexMex. I enjoy their brunch and it's always packed. Dinner is average, but still a good crowd.
  14. Sounds like he's talking about Cuchara
  15. TexMex talk is this way > https://www.surlyhorns.com/board/topic/2954-texmex/page/11/
  16. Owner of Phat Eatery chef died of cancer a couple weeks ago. Seemed like a nice guy.
  17. Yes, and he is right
  18. 2022 Tramon Mark and Kyler Edwards. They were a damn good team. A couple of key injuries this year as well.
  19. Injuries will cost UH eventually this tournament. They aren't a deep team anymore.
  20. Plenty of rounds trip flights to Europe
  21. UH 2021 team was damn good team. Baylor was stacked that year. UH 2022 team was very good until Marcus Sasser and Tramon Mark got injured. Still made it to the Elite Eight
  22. i thought the late season injuries would kill them, but they keep finding a way to win However I wouldn't be surprised if someone knocks them out in round 32 or 16 of the tourney. They don't play as well on the road.
  23. I said a month or so ago. It was bad coaching that led to Green's inconsistent play and poor defense. Udoka won't put up with that shit
