  1. water damage - master shower pipe burst and then we discovered hot water heater in attic was leaking.
  2. https://www.independent.co.uk/news/world/americas/oysters-flesh-eating-bacteria-deadly-louisiana-b2816786.html?utm_medium=social&utm_source=facebook&utm_campaign=picturepost&fbclid=IwdGRjcAMjNYJjbGNrAyM1PGV4dG4DYWVtAjExAAEeXamh43Rovex_n-1dJ1D6RTAvFRHbWQfdiLfoahYjRB3o2dG6cRlVqdn4_KY_aem_LyHV7eknwpYKa1M0rOkjfg This is why I don't eat gulf oysters in the summer. 6 deaths from Louisiana oysters this summer, a total of 34 vibrio cases from Louisiana. Texas had 5 cases earlier this summer but I haven't heard updates numbers.
  3. This one's nice. The rest are terrible.
  4. AVW is such a smart player. I love our freshmen. They're not scared.
  5. With who we have on the block I prefer the more conservative approach to serving. Side outs on service errors grind my gears.
  6. Arch was off. Our WRs were also blanketed by their secondary and it looked like we were running mostly 1v1 routes for some reason.
  7. We shop every year for home and auto renewal. We switched this May to a bundled plan with Geico. We've been with Geico before for auto but their home coverage is new to us. Well we've had to file two claims on the hone since May. We knew Geico didn't actually underwrite their home policies and that they contracted out to Homesite, but I didn't know that Homesite also turned around and contracted out to another company called American Family Insurance. AFI has been horrible. Every part of their business other than their adjusters is contracted out. As a result there are multiple layers of approval or bureaucracy to go through for everything you need to do. Get a contractor out for a rebuild estimate? AFICS has to send a work order out to a group of contractors on your city. Reimbursement? AFICS sends your receipts to another group who goes through them and approves or denies your reimbursement. Book accommodations? Got a wait for another company to call you to set it up for you. It's a waste of time and I'm convinced it's designed that way to wear you down so you don't fight them. There are lots of horror stories on Reddit regarding Homesite. Geico uses them as their home policies unit. So does Progressive. Star far away.
  8. Would've been fine if TE2 didn't run past his block.

    Colonoscopy

I'm doing this on 9/11. Not looking forward to the prep but I've had to prep twice before, last time during Christmas of 2023, so at least this time I won't be staring at the family eating lamb and rib roast while I'm gazing into my green jello and chicken broth.
  18. ^^ gorgeous.
  19. that one chick from orange is the new black is about to beat this tall homeless guy on ashe.
  20. Tacos Arturo's on the NE corner of braker and lamar.
  21. Go watch it again. The chair ump didn't give first serve until well after the ball boy was set and after the cameraman got back into the camera well before saying First Serve.
  22. Sure, that's normal in the rhythm of the game. But it wasn't a kid chasing a ball. The pause came after Bonzi had already started his second serve sequence and it was an abnormal disruption which lasted longer than normal.
  23. except it was the right call
