  1. Guys who took lessons as a kid can give you better advice than I. I started playing piano largely b/c I liked hearing the songs that my dad and mom played. Mixing in some 'fun' songs along with the required practice songs might interest your son on the piano side. There is certainly a lot to be said for laying down a good foundation of habits in playing if your son decides to pursue guitar. One thing that has always inspired me to practice is playing songs that I like. On guitar, that sometimes meant playing along with songs. There are also a lot of hardware options out there to make playing electric more enjoyable. For instance, you can create your own chord-progession loops over which you can solo.

  11. I had to go look up what the other songs were on Third Stage, besides the two that I mentioned. I listened to it quite a bit when it came out to give it a chance. Didn't have the edginess or heaviness of the first two. I think I taped the two that I like on the tail end of a cassette w/ Boston on one side and Don't Look Back on the other.
  12. Thousands of hard-working families that want to come to America, contribute, raise their families, and make America better. Welcome them? Nah. Put them in internment camps and tax Americans. MAGA.
  13. And there's a fairly wide range of styles in their albums. Here's a pretty good variety. Brooklyn My Old School Peg Aja Dr. Wu FM Hey Nineteen
  14. Same. I've listened to 1 and 2 hundreds of times if not more. We're Ready and Cool the Engines were good on Third Stage.
  15. I know everyone like their own personalize home page on surly. The fluid view give you a pretty good representation of recent activity. You can select which forums you want to see. Example https://www.surlyhorns.com/board/index.php?forumId=17,2,3,4,5,24,9,10,22,30,23,29,12,15,16,18,31 You have to select Fluid View (arrow on left).
  16. Very possible. I don't know if anyone will ever unravel all of the R illegality. I'm sure they hold things over each other's heads. If you bust me, then you're going down too.
  17. Consolidated, impeachment hearings will focus all questions and answers in one place. The Ds can put together a list of established facts and misdeeds by Cheeto. They can repeat those over and over to the American people and impeach if they want.
  18. I'm still hoping for the midnight run to Russia on AF1 with the whole Trump klan, including SHS and all the rest. Never to return again.
  19. ^Yep. Not a debut but BC's Southern Harmony was also one of those that didn't sound like anything else at the time, imo.
