  1. Good news everyone, with C. Way back in a slot we should be getting much more of the insightful 6-man football analysis that we all have been missing.
  2. Upload Google Play Music (before it gets shutdown soon) and then hope it seamlessly transfers over to the new Youtube Music?
  3. Damn, too bad I missed this. Do they do this regularly at all? Wait, do you DJ it?
  4. There is a lot to be said for this. You can have in your head about what you want specifically, but just like any family member, you end up bonding with and loving them for what they pretty quickly. Especially if it is for a family pet and not herding goats or hunting. There are over half a million dogs euthanized every year in the US. I'd hope with such an oversupply one of them could make a good fit.
  5. Felt the same. Personally, I'd love as much of the old cast together doing little else than pure dialog... almost like a 12 Angry Men type thing. It looked and sounded like a big-budget modern movie and all the good and bad that comes with it. No surprise with that, but it just reminds me how little "action" played in the success of TNG to me.
  6. American Graffiti has a great soundtrack. If I recall, it was a big part of the small budget Lucas had, but turned out to be a key part to the movie's success. Walter Murch did a fantastic job of using the soundtrack as a glue that sticks together the plots of the various friend groups. The soundtrack even has some Wolfman Jack bits it in.
  7. I'm very with you on this. 1.75L of White or Black label is just fine for me and such a good value that its hard to stray from these.
  8. I was going to recommend a rescue, but looks like they have a waiting list for the local one. https://www.grr-tx.com/guidelines/how-adopt Perhaps there is another not too far away.
  9. That original All in the Family Episode is quite powerful. They did a pretty good job staying true to it.
  10. 104.9 loops for me on occasion on the Tune In app. I always thought it was the app, but perhaps its the source. Other channels are fine on it.
  11. Lower than the Gregg Henson at 1300 the Zone era?
  12. If you can find the now discontinued Chromecast Audio, they can be joined together in a group. So you can use any receiver and make it connectable for ~$35. Since this makes a lot of sense, of course Google kills it.
  13. Too bad. Have been into him and catching his Saturday afternoon show at the Continental recently and really dig his jazz-infused twanginess. A wonderful player.
  14. And reducing it from 3000 to 2800 mah in the regular Pixel. Seems like a non-starter for such an expensive phone.
  15. Love Doc Watson. His poor son Merle (in the video above) died fairly early when his tractor tipped over or something. The live recording with father and son duo is fantastic. Great work by Ken B. Just finished the series week. Nice touch that that they ended it with a picture of Mother Maybelle Carter. Also Heartworn Highways has a bonus disc with extra performances and I think some extra Guy Clark kitchen table songs.
  16. You can go back to on-screen buttons. Just search "navigation" in the settings search.
  17. If you remember the number for this, it still works sort of. It's kind of creepy.
  18. Wow, never knew about the unlimited google drive storage. Just resurrected my alumni email, signed in, and there it is. This is really fantastic. Thanks for cluing us in.
  19. The one where they go in the decommissioned Shoreham nuclear power plant is fantastic!
  20. Thoroughly enjoyed that full interview. He's far more with it than I would have expected. Different yes, but certainly an interesting conversation.
  21. The 4k version was on sale last week for 199.99.
  22. Certainly, have heard of straight sixes that don't seem to break. But with many modern cars making it to 200k miles without needing anything more than maintenance, I'd take today's engines. It just sucks to fix them when they do fail.
