Thinking more about Schiff.  I'd love to see the GOP put somebody on HIC as ranking member other than Nunes or Gowdy.  I really believe that Schiff would like to run HIC in a bi-partisan fashion, similar to SIC.  The difference between HIC and SIC when this shit started was HUGE.

Not gonna be Gowdy.  He bailed on his job in the House.

I will vote R.  Many times there is no L candidate. I still view R as less bad than D.

I assume you live in Texas so yes many R's.  I live in Ohio many here too.  As I said they bother me less than Ds.

John Kasich: Trump is 'incapable of being a unifier' or taking responsibility for his rhetoric

Donald Trump bears some responsibility for divisions among Americans and is “incapable of being a unifier,” Ohio Gov. John Kasich said in national TV interviews this week.

Kasich lost to Trump in the 2016 GOP primary and has since been an outspoken Republican critic of the president. Kasich’s comments came after several suspicious packages containing bombs were sent to Hillary Clinton, former attorney general Eric Holder and other Democratic leaders.

MSNBC host Brian Williams asked Kasich on Wednesday night if Trump bears some responsibility for the tone that allowed such attacks to take place.

Kasich said Clinton and Holder have made divisive comments, but the president has “the biggest megaphone.”

“Everybody needs to knock it off but obviously the guy with the biggest megaphone is the one who really has to be careful,” Kasich said.

Kasich appeared on CNN on Thursday morning. Kasich said he had hoped Trump would be able to unite the country, but that has not come to be.

“He’s not capable of being a unifier,” Kasich said. “In fact, I’ve become convinced he doesn’t know how to accept personal responsibility and always finds somebody else to blame.”

Kasich had praised Trump on Wednesday night for his “conciliatory tone” during pre-rally interview but on Thursday morning said he was disappointed the president later attacked the media.

“We now have a heightened sense of threats and panic and the caravan’s coming and they’re going to be in your house and you rev people up and what happens? Somebody out there who’s unstable does something crazy and I think that’s what we’re seeing here,” Kasich said.

If we deny coverage for preexisting conditions, we should do the same for preexisting wars. I don't want to pay for other people's wars. It's a choice they made, not my problem. They should have to pay for it or go to jail, or just die. Right?

Not to mention the first responders, cops, and firefighters during 9/11.  They ran towards the problem, so it's on them.

  4. So the Georgia law includes names with hyphens that may or not may be there...   The only people I can think of with hyphens in their names would be blacks and women.

When I think of Klobuchar and the other members of the Dem caucus on the Senate Judiciary I am reminded of the old saying "In the land of the blind the one-eyed man is King."  She should have Feinstein's job.

Too bad she isn't a man.

70% of PR had no power.....BEFORE the hurricane?  That's an interesting....."fact."  I mean, we know it's bullshit, but where in the FUCK did he get it?

Irma knocked out power down to 70%.  But it was back up to 96-98% before Maria.

Oct 30 (Reuters) - The following is a timeline of the efforts to restore power in Puerto Rico after Hurricane Maria, which knocked out power to all 1.5 million homes and businesses on the island.

Sept. 6 - Hurricane Irma skirts by the northern side of Puerto Rico as a Category 5 storm, knocking power out to about 1 million homes and businesses on the island.

Sept. 6-20 - Puerto Rico Electric Power Authority (PREPA) restores power to all but about 60,000 customers after Irma and seeks companies that can help rebuild the grid. There are reports that about five companies participated in that request for proposals, including Whitefish Energy, based in Whitefish, Montana.

Sept. 20 - Hurricane Maria hits Puerto Rico as a Category 4 storm, knocking out all power on the island.

Oh, please explain to me all that you know about deism.  You seem so knowledgeable.

I'm sure that's exactly what you practice, right?

Not gonna derail this thread, AG.  PM me, or "god" strike me down for lying.

I do know what deism is...I've been a deist for a long time.

Let me 'splain it to you:

    There is a god.

    Welp...we're done.

Yes, and that "god" does not influence humans.  So how would "it" send love to Brisket?  'splain that. Welp....

Ummm...I don't do Breitbart.  Apparently you do.

It's sad that you've become so hateful.

And I really feel bad for you.  I'm a deist, but I'll talk to the big guy and ask him to send you some love.

Don't think you know what Deism is.  Unless you don't want any love sent to Brisket, which makes you the prototypical Trumpkin.  Blowhard
