The 48 hour window for the portal has created the unknown. For all we know, McCoy is sitting in the portal waiting on the required time lapse.

Roschon is light years ahead of D'Eriq King and Greg Ward and those two absolutely lit it up. RJ is smart with a great work ethic, he's going to be a beast in this offense.

"Millwood star receiver De'Mariyon Houston was set on signing with Texas on Wednesday to open the early National Signing Day. He had taken several promotional photos, had visits with the coaches and been to campus. But something changed in the last few weeks. Texas' interest waned. Despite being committed since early July, Houston was discouraged. It was time to start over in the recruiting process. One of the state's top recruits re-entered the market. “It was like they found somebody else or something and they were really trying to push him off,” Millwood athletic director Shannon Hayes said. “He felt like they didn't want him anymore.”

They didn't back off, they stopped communicating period. I don't like focusing on the negative, but the Houston deal rubbed me the wrong way. I get it, there's more talent and in the end it's better for Houston and us to go separate directions. Herman should have manned up though and at least called the kid to personally inform him - he deserved that at least.

He threw plenty of passes on a line in that video , 1:31 he throws a beautiful ball on an inside post. And that far hash throw was a 25 yard throw across the hashes, we're not talking about a 10 yard fucking out route.

Or we signed 21 out of our 22 players and have the #9 class in the nation you ungrateful shit. In year 2, we've already built connections in California, Arizona, Louisiana, and Missouri which has given us an early in and momentum with the likes of Mookie and Ringo. Big picture bitch.

- This is bullshit. We essentially cleared the board last cycle for the state, taking 10 of the top 13. And if you're talking about 2019, year of the head case, then I'm ok with going out of state like we have. - Every school that Sanders and Cain don't choose has poured in a huge amount of resources and that includes Bama, Georgia, Penn St. Tennessee, Florida, and on. These kids get so much love from schools, if you're not doing it then you're not even in the game. That's how it works, that's why we've remained in it with Sanders and Cain. Just one question though - with RB being a huge need, what's your answer with those resources spent on Cain and Sanders?

I don't want to lose Powell if I know he winds up at safety. It all depends on how strong his desire is to play QB - is he willing to make the move to safety if he can't crack the depth chart or does he transfer because he wants to keep chasing the dream.

That would be a hell of a group, I wonder about the Lewis offer though. We told the kid he was next in line if a spot opened up, and the offer became official. Was that spot on the wr board or were we taking the next in line based on talent at that point, regardless of numbers in any position group?

Powell has nothing to do with the wr numbers. That kid's offer from Ohio St. was for safety only for a reason.

Tried to dig around for info on Bru's visit but not one twitter post or pic from Bru, not even any USC likes or new follows. The USC message board is a real well, no replies to the Bru thread or any insiders posting updates on 247 or twitter. This pic you posted is all I could find. This has been a really quiet visit.

Any of you idiots that want this kid, when we have a locker room full of Caden Sterns, BJ Fosters, etc. are idiots and know nothing about what Herman is building. CTJ is right and rightly so.

These kids don't come in 6'4" 245 out of highschool, they come in at 6'3" 210 like Von Miller. He's 6'4" 205 - you put him in a nutritional program like Texas and he'll be 230+ in a year.

Jimbo 2019: The Only Tail Getting Busted is Candi's
Jimbo seems to be hitting it off with the faculty. Here's a lovely piece contributed by Arnold Luenes: Recent events involving A&M's head football coach and one of his top players has prompted this letter. As an Aggie (Class of 1960), collegiate athlete, sports psychologist, and 53-year faculty member, I am appalled at the behaviors displayed by Coach Jimbo Fisher, who has a decade-long history of coddling an assortment of sex offenders, felons, miscreants and ne'er-do-wells while at Florida State. Twenty-nine of his players were arrested during his 10-year tenure there. Sports analyst Mike Rosenberg has studied university athlete arrests over a recent five-year period and found that Florida State was number 10 on the list (A&M was third). As he further indicated: "Imagine what FSU's arrest rate would be if Tallahassee police actually arrested football players." We are five games into Fisher's troubled (and troubling) tenure in which he has been captured on television pushing and shoving assistant coaches and/or other team personnel and inexcusably grabbing a player by the facemask. These missteps have gone viral to tens of thousands of television viewers. It is my fondest hope that these outbursts have not gone unnoticed by the athletic director and the university administration. I am going to assume, perhaps naively, that the powers that be already have acted so that we might not have to endure 10 more years of this boorish, mind-boggling misbehavior. Perhaps even more ominous in some ways is the prospect of A&M turning once again into a powerhouse reminiscent of the days of Paul "Bear" Bryant, Emory Bellard, Jackie Sherrill and R.C. Slocum. Winning coaches often are given a behavioral and ethical blank check by university administrators, alumni and the adoring public if they pile up the wins. In our case, let's pile up the wins but let's do it with class. Shoving or pummeling assistants and assaulting players is not class! ARNOLD LEUNES College Station
