  1. Sure. Sit down real quick and I'll explain the last 14 years of college football to you.
  2. Sark impressed me with his play calling more than ever last night. -The short yardage pass to Whittington was a great play call for an OC who has rammed it into a 9 man box on short yardage all year long. -The play action pass to Helm was totally unexpected. Sark used that two tight end motion about 30 times against TCU and I think every time it was a run. Iowa State didn't see it coming. -Ewers had so many wide open targets all night. -The run game without Brooks looked as good as ever.
  3. I really think it's now as simple as winning out and hoping FSU drops one without Jordan Travis. If that happens, they're taking the winners of the SEC, Pac 12, Big Ten and Big 12.
  4. I'm sure Bally is fine if you're on cable. But it is the worst steaming app I've ever used. Fast forwarding and rewinding is horrible, it constantly has load issues, it asks for a password every other time you use it, the entire app was down for a couple nights a week ago. Not to mention, if you wanted to just pay for the App by itself aside from DirecTV, the Mavs and Stars were available but the Rangers weren't. Not great.
  5. I'm not sure how many would advise Ewers to come back if Worthy, Mitchell, and Sanders are all gone. If he comes back, he'd need one of those three to return. I dunno, maybe the TV announcers will tell us next year that part of him finding himself involved wanting to get a master's degree.
  6. This. People are giving way too much credence to the idea that everyone wins out. How many times have we seen four Power 5 undefeated conference champs? Florida has two rivalry games and probably Louisville. The Pac 12 can still beat itself up. Also, Oklahoma's demise has improved the quality of Texas's perceived strength of schedule. If it ends up 12-1 Texas, 10-3 Oklahoma State, 10-2 Oklahoma, 10-2 Kansas, 8-4 Kansas State, that's going to look just as impressive as whatever the Pac 12 has after they beat each other late.
  7. Oregon could lose to USC or Oregon State. Washington could lose to Washington State or Utah. Feasibly. Then you just hope the higher ranked team loses the Pac 12 championship.
  8. I'm at the point where I almost want to treat any third and long with Murphy as though we're about to punt. He's horrible on obvious passing downs. Limit him to deep shots, comeback throws, hitches, etc. Our running game, receivers, defense, special teams should be good enough to win our last three games as long as Murphy doesn't turn the ball over. But he will turn it over if we give him free reign to sit back and make reads. Savior Red should probably get more snaps but where he actually reads the end and hands it off sometimes. If our passing game is going to be limited, might as well make the running game more intricate.
  9. When the rest of the Big 12 was beating us in fluky games where we handed them the win with stupid mistakes, I'm pretty sure they didn't feel bad about it.
  10. There was zero chance we were getting the ball in the end zone in any OT or 2 points conversion period. Thank you K State. 8-1 feels good. Getting any win while Ewers is out feels good. Overcoming coaching feels good. Keep going.
  11. This explains why Fox starts their second game at 3:00 rather than 2:30 like the other channels.
  12. What on earth are you talking about? Every single thing you said was wrong.
  13. Billions is like a half step above Suits in quality. It's cheesy storylines with cheesy dialogue and cheesy acting. Succession is the best show of the past 10 years.
  14. Didn't FCB say Majors would be out until the last week of the season? He practiced today?
  15. Auburn looked so awful against A&M. How are they doing this?
  16. Iowa has 29 active players in the NFL, good for 13th overall. They're good at developing big guys. I get why a school like Iowa is content. They see what Nebraska is like with their constant upheaval. It's basically like a parallel universe where Nebraska never gets rid of Pelini and is content with the 9 win seasons. So I get Kirk Ferentz. I do not get Brian Ferentz.
  17. Just saw the defense is 2nd in the nation in redzone efficiency. Only allowed one passing TD in the redzone and zero rushing TDs. Also, having the 12th ranked scoring defense is something I feel like I haven't seen since Mischamp, but I could be wrong on that.
  18. On YouTube tv or is it just NFL Plus?
  19. http://www.hudl.com/v/2Lf8vP Antayvious Ellis. Kid got offers from TCU, Tech, and UTSA in middle school, runs a 10.5 100m, and has balled out thus far. Baylor had him in for the game last night.
  20. Random and not pertinent to the thread but I was shocked to see a Wing Stop in London when I went a year ago. Felt like seeing an old high school friend or something.
  21. If you feel even remotely similar to how you felt a year ago when our starting QB was out with an injury, we had two true freshmen on the line, our offense had already shown a difficulty scoring in second halves when defenses adjusted, and our defense had a walk on starting at safety... I don't know what to tell you about your emotional state.
  22. Funniest interaction I saw was some scantly clad drunk sorority girl throwing the horns down and shouting towards an old, 80-something Texas couple followed by her friend saying, "Abby, you HAVE to stop."
