  3. About a 6 on the x axis and all the way up to an 11 on the y axis.
  4. So, they are building an electric 1963 Chevy pickup with limited range?
  5. Whew, crisis averted. Tried out a new Mexican place (I live in Georgia) today. Meh fajitas, meh margs. Come home and putter about the house. Just went in to have a piss and my gut grumbles said SIT DOWN! Sat down to piss like a bitch and my asshole said welcome to the party, pal. Close, but still not in the race this year.
  6. I've burned a couple of bags of it. Comparable to the Kingsford Professional briquettes they also sell.
  7. Deej, next time you are frying some fish, try this breading:
  8. That hot pepper relish at Jersey Mike's is a fine addition to a sandwich.
  9. My metals investments are limited to two American Eagle 1 oz. gold coins bought at a pawnshop in Dothan, AL in the early 2000s. Paid $400 for one and $420 for the other one, for an average cost of $410 per oz. If it cracks $4,000 per coin, I might look at selling.
  10. I shot a man in Reno just to watch him die.

  12. Try this: go trade it in on a Tundra.
  13. Gagree, with the Cannondale T2000 closely trailing. Comfort-wise, the Specialized would probably win, followed by the Cannondale. Hank, if you're just looking for something to tool around on, run errands, etc., any of those 3 would be fine. If you're looking to hop on a bike and take a 50 or 60 mile ride, then the Marin above or that carbon fiber one would be your pick.
  14. Spitballing here, but I would bet that is about a 30 year old bike. Main thing I would be concerned about is integrity of the carbon frame at its age. The gruppo was top- and mid-tier Shimano products, at the time, if I am correct about the age. The pedals would require cleated shoes (you have to "snap-in" the cleats into the pedals), that would mean if you plan on using it for just errands and stuff you would need to carry around another pair of shoes/sandals to walk comfortably. Side note, the saddle used to be called the clit saver, as it was originally designed for women riders.
  15. Couple of years ago, we had a conference in DC and girlfriend and I made that road trip from Atlanta. Made a long week of it and went to some out of the way places on the trip. Lake Lure/Chimney Rock, NC, Boone, NC, Assateague/Chincoteague Islands, Jamestown, etc. Enjoyable trip.
  16. Dead snek.
  17. Port St. Joe, Apalachicola. Beaches at Cape San Blas are great.
  18. Pablo Picasso was never called an asshole.

  20. For the same reason people tap on the glass to make a caged rattlesnake strike or taunt the zoo animals: boredom with a sprinkling of latent cruelty.
  21. Update: $250 locksmith call. New keypad installed, programmed and I'm back in business.
