Matt Patricia
Moore was wide open on the 1st play of the game with plenty of room for YAC. Wingo was wide open on 3rd and 5 with an entire field in front of him. Sarkis8an had a pathetic gameplay and Manning was off. Otherwise Patricia was dynamite. We outgained them by over 100 yards, and controlled the LOS for much of the game.

It was bound to happen when you overuse your leverage relievers as much as Espada does. Espada loves using his closers in non-save situations.

UTSA shitting all over themselves.

Another Dubon failure, Espada loves playing shitty players. He also doesn't realize you can steal bases.

Does Sark know that field goals get you 3 points?
It was 3rd and 5, and we aren't throwing the ball in that situation. We were throwing because we needed a TD instead of 10-15 more yards for a FG.

60 yards? We had 4th and three inside the 10. What the fuck are you talking about? Or are you talking about the final drive where the playcalling would have been completely different trying to set up a FG instead of having to score a TD.

Does Sark know that field goals get you 3 points?
Nope. You only go for it if you think this is your one chance, as the game played out we had multiple more chances to add points. If you want to go for it, fine, go for it after you already have points on the board. Plus you get in game reps for anew kicker. He kicks the FG there, he kicks the FG on the 4th and three, instead of shitty play call, and we are down one score instead of two.

18/20 SBs against Hendricks and we don't even attempt one.

Their defense can't tackle at all.

Does Sark know that field goals get you 3 points?
Understood, but yeah it's chasing points when you can easily have 3, instead of 0. Sarkisian's 4th down playcalling is fucking abysmal. Has been since he got here.

Here we go, got another opportunity.

Does Sark know that field goals get you 3 points?
So it's 14-12 and we have the ball at midfield where a FG wins the game, and we are running the ball on 3rd and maybe 4th down instead of relying on Manning.

I have zero concerns going forward [OP is a Fucking Liar]
The defense is legitmately elite when they don't step on their dicks. The OL was getting plenty of push and opening holes that weren't there last year. Outside of TOs, the next three G5 opponents are going to struggle to get into position to score points.

Marcel Reed is fucking awful. aggy is 8-4 or worse this season.

Does Sark know that field goals get you 3 points?
Fuck this. You never chase points until the 4Q when you are in a one score game.
-
Does Sark know that field goals get you 3 points?
Sark fucked his team royally in this game. His playcalling sucked for 3Qs, and he refused to take points when he should. He kicks the two FGs and then gets the TD. He either is a 2-point conversion from a tie, or he has the ball at midfield when a FG wins the game. By 1-3 points. His in game strategy sucks when his playcalling is lacking.

Yep, this conference is still dogshit.

Of course, we blow another chance with runners in scoring position. This team puts so little pressure on pitchers.

2025 game Week 1, #1 Texas @ #3 Ohio State - What the Fuck is a Buckeye?
Of course, they routinely schedule 3 OOC G5 games to go along with a conference that on paper has no depth after 5 teams, that is only recently with the additions of the 4 Pac teams. They have played 2 OOC P4 conference games at home since Day took over and are 1-1 in those games. Oregon beat them 35-28, and ND lost 21-10. That Oregon team was coached by Mario Cristobal. Those two teams lost a combined 8 games those two seasons. So decent competition, but not elite. Since, Sarkisian has been at Texas, they have played at least 1 P4 team OOC every year. Arkansas, Alabama x 2, and Michigan. 2-1 on the road. Day has never gone on the road OOC and beaten a playoff team like Sarkisian has. We won't smoke them like we did Michigan last year, unless we force Sayin into multiple early TOs. If anyone is getting smoked in this game, it is the team starting a RSFreshmen, with a questionable OL plus OC combination with a new DC that has never coached a day of college football at this level.

I don't understand 5 RBs and 7 WRs. I get Berrios is a ST player specifically and I am fine with it, but wtf is Justin Watson over a 3rd TE?

2025 game Week 1, #1 Texas @ #3 Ohio State - What the Fuck is a Buckeye?
The problem being that neither of those dudes are anywhere close to the elite talent that you guys last year with Henderson and Judkins. Peoples had 197 yards and 4.0 YPC. Donaldson, we knocked his ass out for 2-3 games in 2022. That room scares no one with a serious defense. We return a 1K rusher and are getting back the most complete back on our roster. He is a health risk, but so is Donaldson (if you are being honest). We also much better depth at the position that you guys do. We also have the much better OC that will max our talent better than Hartline. He of the 3 offensive points against Missouri in the 2023 Cotton Bowl. You better hope your OL is 10X better than their experience dictates they will be on Saturday or it get ugly.
