  1. Yeah, Neyor returning would be a huge boost. Neyor, Cook, Moore, Niblett, Wingo, Dubose, and Livingstone are a great start. Probably going to pull in one from the portal.
  2. The Big 10 has 6 options to determine the three-way tie-breaker. After reading them, it appears that Penn State would advance due to their win over Iowa because they would likely be the #1 team from the west and neither Michigan nor Ohio State played them.
  3. No, Oregon has played a shitty schedule with one win over a team with a winning record. When the season is over, Texas and Alabama will have much better resumes than Oregon.
  4. For Texas to maximize our resume we need: KU and KSU to be 9-3, so that means KSU beating KU to end the season. OSU to be 10-2 going into the conference championship game. Alabama to win the SEC. OU to be at worst 9-3, so that our loss isn't considered bad. Wyoming finishing 9-3 would also be a nice boost, they have a big game against UNLV this weekend.
  5. Of course. A 1-loss Michigan team would be the weakest conference champion of all the resumes due to their 2 game season.
  6. If Alabama, Oregon, and Texas all end up at 12-1. Texas and Alabama will be ranked ahead of Oregon in the final CFP rankings.
  7. Penn State. Any loss will eliminate Michigan from further discussion due to the cheating scandal.
  8. Big 12 gets a lot of respect. OSU at #15 with a home loss to South Alabama is hilarious. #25 - KSU #18 - OU #17 - KU #15 - OSU #7 - Texas
  9. Isn't it Joseph actually in charge of the coverages? His title is Defensive Passing Game Coordinator. Pete needs to be more forceful to get Joseph to tighten this shit up.
  10. Interesting tidbit on that schedule. It looks like there will be an aggy off the week before our game. That might be a tougher game than they expect with Kill turning that program around.
  11. I wonder if Lake is an option for DC.
  12. 0-fer against Texas. He's a great coach though. The Big 12 has 4 really good coaches in Klieman, Whittingham, Gundy, and Leipold. Out of the rest of the conference, the dude in Arizona is on the way up with the rest of the league closer to Jimbo.
  13. Texas will always have at least 3 shooters on the court at all times. Those include Hunter, Abmas, Horton, Cunningham, and Weaver. Then you mix and match at the forward positions with Mitchell, Onyema, Disu, and Shedrick. You could obviously see some lineups with 1 forward and 4 shooters. When Disu gets healthy a closing lineup of Hunter, Abmas, Horton, Cunningham, and Disu has the ability to spread you out and bury you.
  14. They locked down the crosser on 3rd down as well. Forced their QB to throw a missile into a crowd of players. Actually, after rewatching it again, Texas got lucky Howard threw a bad pass, their WR was wide open. Ford got distracted by the guy that came from the left and followed him for a step or two before realizing he had help behind him, but by then it was too late and #10 flashed in front of him. Blackwell had a similar fuck up on the 4th down conversion on the KSU drive to tie it at 30. Our LBs just do a fucking horrible job of pattern recognition and the communication with the safeties is fucking abysmal. Juxtapose that with how KSU defended our mesh concept on the drive to take the lead on 3rd down. Two defenders were ready to tackle Worthy short of the line to gain. I don't understand why opposing teams just don't run mesh concepts the entire game against us. If you have any speed at the WR position you will get chunk plays on high percentage short throws.
  15. Is bowtie still wearing his bowtie? He was the color guy before Blanks.
  16. I mean Texas has been just as QB lucky as aggy. Thompson Card Ewers Card Ewers Murphy The problem is Sarkisian has built a much better program around that 1 position to cover for the injuries and has gone 14-4 in his last 18 games. Including 2-1 on the road against Top 15 teams, and 4-4 against ranked teams.
  17. Who gives a shit about what rules you have going into the game, the situation dictated that Cole needed to come into the game.
  18. There are going to be a lot of good WRs available at 20. I'm not sure about DL, usually those guys are gone in the Top 5-10. I would love Sweat, but 20 is probably too high for him because he's a run stuffer. Though maybe he would have more pass rush stats if he wasn't held on every play without fear of penalty.
  19. Yeah, Brown has come on since the injury to Woods, and Niko is finally showing up. I saw an earlier mock that had the Texans getting Keon Coleman and that would be fucking awesome. I think we need a WR/TE and then just fill up on LOS guys.
  20. Maalik left a lot of points on the board and should have been picked off 2 more times. With a little better ball placement Texas has 3 more TDs over 50 yards.
