Just watched A House of Dynamite. Almost a great movie, but the third vignette was anticlimactic because we'd already heard most of the dialogue from other angles and it was obvious we'd get a cliffhanger ending.
Idris Elba literally doing President Stringer Bell was a weird choice.
Not a bad movie, but I was expecting more.
I will be at DKR and I will be salty as fuck.
I just still can't believe that we went from preseason #1 with a Heisman candidate QB to being excited to see the backup QB and hoping we can pull off a miracle against... *checks notes* Vanderbilt...
But I do think we're gonna get this one. The defense rebounded from its last bad outing by stonewalling ou. So let's stonewall Vandy.
I could only see this happening if CDC said something about L'Oreal and she gave Sark that Jada Pinkett stare.
Then I think Sark would stroll up with his chest out ready to slap CDC and walk right into a stiff jab. CDC by ground and pound ref stoppage, 0:22 of Round 1.
I think I speak for everyone with Dak on their fantasy team when I say fuck all of this game, including that great throw by somebody else and the great catch to go with it.
Yeah, but he said that very early on. The point was more like, if this defense could just be average with this offense, this team could really go somewhere, but alas, they're .500, for a moment...
I'm sober, I watched every play, and I've read most of Surly's thoughts on the topic, and I also don't know how we won that game, and I think I lost several IQ points.
"Dominated" is a strong word when they still gave up touchdown drives of 80 and 75 yards in the second half. "Less awful" might be more like it.
What we learned last night is that the Florida performance can no longer be written off as an anomaly. This defense is capable of mostly shutting down Ohio State and ou, and they are also capable of getting lit up by far lesser offenses. The only silver lining is that the pair of meltdowns were both true road games, and we only have one of those left.
