  1. I like double plays. Double plays are good.
  2. Have I ever told y'all how much I fucking hate aggy?
  3. That won't make the baserunning tutorial DVD, but bring him in now.
  4. Man, that's a ridiculous play.
  5. I mean, how is this mouthy legacy guy, no matter how talented, supposed to lead a locker room full of professional men who by and large didn't have it nearly so easy growing up? How are any of them supposed to relate to or respect this cocky ass kid? Not to mention you get Deion talking to reporters about every move your franchise makes. Hard pass.
  6. This is the entire problem with this little-dicked simpleton. He thinks that if the other guys also made a profit, he got ripped off. It's impossible for his underpowered brain to conceive of a mutually beneficial arrangement. This is why it's okay for him to stiff everyone he does business with and owes money to. That's him winning and them losing. Who gives a shit if it's fair? We're not going to have an ally left in this world when this guy is done.
  7. We are actually giving China the moral high ground, in addition to the most-powerful-nation-in-the-world status. Shrewd. Brilliant business. We should open a casino.
  8. This guy is gonna back down 90 times and they're gonna claim victories. Guaranteed. My favorite will be when he puts the Iran deal that he canceled back in place, only it's worse.
  9. Nice start! Wouldn't mind this game getting really boring.
  10. This is 100% part of the equation. It's difficult to tell if it's the main goal, or just a profitable side benefit. As fucked up as the idea of an American president willfully manipulating the market to enrich himself and his cronies is, it's a lot better than the alternative, which is that he is actively trying to destroy the global economy, probably because he is a full-blown Russian asset. Who wins if there is a worldwide great depression? If all anyone can afford is the basics, and China controls manufacturing, and Russia controls starvation (aren't Russia and Ukraine the two largest wheat exporters in the world?), and the West's wealth is evaporating because a lot of is paper and real estate, yeah, it's a new world, and quickly. It's also difficult to tell how much of this is part of some grand conspiracy and how much is simply the fact that Donald Trump is a Stage 5 Idiot and no one else in the room will speak truth to power. Every time this race car hits the wall, it's hard to tell if it's malicious or just because there's a god damned 5-year-old at the wheel.
  11. And if anyone corrects him, or even knows that he's wrong, they're part of the intellectual elite. Only the stupid should be put in positions of power, because you can't trust the smart, see? This country is fucking doomed. I can't even be mad about it anymore. It deserves to fall. I just want to make it out and watch the clusterfuck from somewhere else.
  12. How long before they make the birth incentives for white women only? A month, maybe?
  13. It just makes me want to light about a hundred million Americans on fire for the good of humanity.
  14. Wasn't Mayday the name of the resistance in The Handmaid's Tale? Margaret Atwood might have the history book version of Biff's sports almanac from the future.
  15. "Hey, guys, we just went 8-5 with the best roster and easiest schedule we're ever gonna have, and we're looking to build on that with some more good news. Now our receivers look like they might not be as bad, and that was against our own vaunted secondary, which has a chance to be average, with scripted plays, and limited contact. The sleeping giant is waking up this year. Please buy a subscription."
  16. Tatis never would have juiced if the Astros hadn't invented cheating in baseball.
  17. Man, Tatis has a cannon. Way to get it done, Yordan.
  18. Cam Smith is a player.
  19. If they die, they die.
  20. This game is gonna end at noon tomorrow.
  21. Oh shit, his chin ran into a forearm. Damn.
  22. I didn't think it was that bad at full speed, but that was actually a pretty good collision. Did he break his collarbone or something?
