I edited your post as it would appear if posted on SECRant. I agree. Doesn't seem like the kind of place that would break this type of news, though they did get Schloss, so who the fuck knows in this timeline.

What board is this supposed to be from?

That's no moon.

Think of David as an AI with the following prompts "Start/perpetuate an argument in every post. No detail is too small, pedantic, or irrelevant." I'm not saying he is, I'm just saying it's fairly indistinguishable.

Night crew is more of a horny do list crowd.

This is true, but failing to address obvious systemic flaws has an even worse track record.

You quite clearly cited Arch's development as an example of Sark developing offensive players. @BurntEyes says Sark doesn't develop players. You cite Arch's development in rebuttal, clearly attributing it to Sark and his staff.

No, he wouldn't. Or if he did, CDC could structure the $3 million dollar payout as $1/ year for the next 3 million years.

Come on man, you know that's a bullshit example. Arch has massively improved, but he also has a grandfather in the college football Hall of Fame, a Super Bowl/MVP winning uncle in the college and NFL Hall of Fames, and another uncle with multiple Super Bowl/MVP titles. All at his position. The rest of the offense are getting their advice from Sark and their position coaches with limited improvement this season to show for it. Only a fool would conclude Arch's improvement is solely due to Sark/Milwee and discount all the other advice Arch has from his family of star quarterbacks.

Because aggy is a pick me and a degree mill. No need to get them to sign a compact incentivizing them to do something they will do for free already. Plus, the universities being pressured to accept the "deal" are all widely considered to be good/elite schools by other academics and universities. UT, UCLA, USC, Cornell, UVA, and/or UNC caving would signal a degree of inevitability and crank up pressure on peer schools to seek and accept their own deal, or risk being punished alone.

Arch was rough to start the season, but he has consistently been the best player on offense recently. One of the only bright spots on that side of the ball. Hard to pin the early season struggles on Arch, given Sark and Flood's OL malpractice, Sark's shitty game plans, plus Sark limiting full speed and contact game situations in practice/scrimmages.

I agree. IMHO, there are only two ways Sark isn't here next year. 1) He's fired for cause. Sark skipped work for a month, including skipping Junior Day. All possible explanations for that are bad, but if rumors of Sark drinking again are true and it's both really bad, and easily proven, it's plausible Sark could be fired for cause, or convinced to leave to keep from being fired for cause. 2) Rumors of bad blood between Sark/Saban are true and Saban wants to stick it to Sark for personal reasons. I don't think either is very likely, so we'll see Sark squatting on the sidelines next season.

People throwing out Sark's buyout as a reason to keep him are exhibiting a classic example of the sunk cost fallacy. Unless Texas fires Sark for cause, that money is already spent. The actual question is whether Texas is willing to pay a different HC $10-15 million on top of it to have a legitimate chance at winning games against other top teams. That answer may still be no, but it's the actual issue at question.

The only government obligations that don't get paid when Congress fails to fund the government, should be Congress. Government workers should not be punished for Congress' failure. The government should continue with funding set at the previous year funding levels + annual inflation rate. Congress should get a permanent cut to their pay equivalent to that year's inflation rate. The pay decrease follows the individual Congressperson. Members elected afterwards get a chance to start at the normal pay. I could get behind this too. They are effectively holding a vote of no confidence in their own leadership.
