  1. Yep, I had that part in, but took it out for brevity and simplicity of argument. The odds of reaching land at all are minuscule, but zero odds of reaching the United States. Cocaine floats for a while before sinking, lots of photos and video of it. Fentanyl has a density of 1.087 vs. 1.101 for cocaine, so should theoretically float for a while before sinking as well. It's all academic though. In no case was anyone on that boat a further threat to reach America and our military could have detained them long before they had even the minuscule chance of reaching anywhere else, let alone the US.
  2. We don't know the exact location, but it's at least 12 nautical miles out, 13.8 regular ones. If Michael Phelps had a baby with Janet Evans, that prodigy is still likely fucked. 13.8 miles in a pool is doable, but 13.8 miles of open ocean are a whole different thing, and its going to be a lot more than 13.8 miles with the water moving you around. That's if they even knew which direction was land and managed to swim directly at it. Even a minor orientation error drastically increases the distance. Even if they could cling to the wreckage, or survival float long enough, they'd be completely at the mercy of the currents. Lifejackets would improve these odds, but still would leave plenty of time to detain them. Even if you strain credulity hard enough to think that there's a minuscule chance the above might happen, it's still illegal to kill them. Such an excuse would be ludicrous from a general who has never left the land, but Bradley is a SEAL.
  3. I don't think it's going to get us in the playoffs, but it's an important step to showing just how fundamentally broken the system is. Also to setting the narrative when Texas drops marquee out of conference games. We're not ducking competition, we willingly joined the SEC. We'd happily keep playing Ohio State and the like, but it's stupid in this reality. The committee says they care about strength of schedule and who you play, but the whole thing was a lie. 10-2 Texas hosts a home game. 9-3 Texas is out. Schedule accordingly.
  4. Where is the Freeman loving coming from? Are people ignoring the rest of his record in favor of beating Indiana, Ron Franklin and Georgia once, then losing to OSU by 11? There's a whole lot of ugly in his actual resume. Inherited 11-1 Notre Dame team when Kelly left Nov 29 for LSU. Ranked #5, lost his bowl game to #9 Oklahoma State. 0-1 against Top Ten. 2022- 9-4 Lost to Marshall at home and a 3-9 Stanford team, also at home. 1-2 against Top 10. W #4 Clemson, L #2 OSU and #6 USC. 2023- 10-3 Lost to #25 Louisville and unranked Clemson. 1-1 Top 10. W #10 USC, L #6 OSU On OSU's game winning drive, ND only had 10 players on the field TWICE. 2024- 14-2 Lost to Northern Illinois at home. Got hot in the playoff and beat #8 Indiana, #4 Penn State, and #2 Georgia (only impressive thing he's done.) Lost to OSU by 11 (Note: Sark also lost to OSU by 11). 2025- 10-2 Lost to #10 Miami and #16 aggy. Only 2 ranked wins, #20 USC and #22 Pitt. He inherited a #5 ranked 11-1 squad and has put up a cumulative record of 43-12. Avg record 10.75-2.75 playing service academies, Michigan State, Purdue, and scrub ACC teams. Cumulative record against Top 10 5-5. Wins against Dabo, Lincoln Reilly, Cignetti, Smart, Ron Franklin. Losses to Gundy, Day, Reilly, Day, Day). Aside from playoff run 2024 against Top 10 2-4 Wins against Dabo, Reilly. Losses to Gundy, Day, Reilly, Day Losses at home to Marshall, Northern Illinois, aggy. Losses on road to Louisville and unranked Clemson. He'd be a disaster against a real schedule.
  5. Was not the case this year. It's a future scheduling rule. We could have played Rice instead of OSU this year. On future P4 game, I unfortunately agree. We should play mid-tier and lower. Teams that might be able to show us things to work on, but not legitimate threats to beat us, even if we shit the bed. No reason to risk a loss when the committee clearly doesn't care. We should also play Rice every year with home games in Reliant for regular home games in Houston. Third game should be a UT system school rotation. Virtually guaranteed 3-0 non conference lets you drop up to 2 SEC games and still go to the playoffs virtually every time.
  6. Which is effectively the same thing, because If Texas played Rice instead of OSU, we'd only have 2 losses and be a lock, likely hosting a game. Look at the pathetic non-conference schedules for top seeds Indiana and Ole Miss. The playoff committee can say whatever they want about schedule strength, their actions show they only care about the number of wins and losses. They don't give a shit about who the wins and losses are against. I don't like it either, but it is reality.
  7. Non-conference schedule going forward should have Rice every year, with any Houston games at Reliant to give us regular games in Houston.
  8. Yep. Headline is absolutely correct. "As things stand, IU football is right to avoid Power 4 teams in non-conference schedule" Indiana 2025 non conference games Old Dominion, Kennesaw State, Indiana State None of those games should count as wins for tournament consideration, but the committee is rewarding them with #2. Indiana gets the message loud and clear. They cancelled UVA for 2027 and 2028 and replaced them with Kennesaw State and Austin Peay.

  10. Their fans are as soft as their schedule and Elko's belly.

Seeing lots of online recommendations for the Mova P10 Ultra too. Anyone have experience with Mova?
  12. At this point, it's really obvious it's on purpose and condoned by SEC leadership. It's not a competence problem, it's corruption.
  13. aggy post game call in said Elko announced in press conference he intended to go for that, but the players didn't snap it and put ball in play. Your point remains though, the crowd disrupted it either way.
  14. Arch looks incredible for long stretches, despite consistent, immediate QB pressure. We need a major OL overhaul. Coaches and players.
  15. I cannot disagree with this post enough. As a college football fan, I want to see the top teams play each other in OOC as often as possible. That only happens if marquee teams are incentivized to play each other. If a close loss to the defending national champs in OOC knocks you out, only a fool would keep scheduling that type of game.
