  1. We can joke about bowl eligibility, but hell I'll take it. We aren't gonna make noise in the postseason this year, but the extra weeks of practice will help in the long run.
  2. These guys deserve a raucous DKR homecoming after a month on the road. We should absolutely be underdogs against Vandy, but these Horns fight to the end and should have a home crowd that does the same.
  3. I prefer to be unranked. Let people talk up Vandy, deservedly so.
  4. Arch was about as good as he's ever been in that 4th quarter, and would have been even better if not for Wingo doing his inopportune drop routine. And he put his body on the line in OT for the team that's been getting him pummeled in pass pro more often than not. The potential is clear to see, but there's little hope for realizing it until we spend several million dollars worth of NIL money to fix the rot in the OL room.
  5. Look at the big brains on this guy!
  6. Just sent my $100 to hitby.
  7. I need to enter the last 4 digits of hitby's phone number before the Venmo will go through.
  8. Exactly what we deserved after the turd we laid in September. Big decisions loom. Most likely none of those decisions will be made.

He's been showing up on my algos quite a bit since the summer. I dig the enthusiasm.
  10. The hits just keep on coming
  11. So, uh, media day for the new Rockets season is next week...
  12. Becoming the most hated team in baseball fueled multiple key events and performances. It's quite the what-if to think about. Personally, I think it's possible this Astros extended run is not as great if Fiers keeps his mouth shut.
  13. 9 years in a row if I'm not mistaken.
  14. As far as I know revised light rail plans have spared Dirty's for a while now. We all know things can change on a dime though. https://www.kut.org/transportation/2024-02-07/dirty-martins-would-be-spared-under-new-concept-for-light-rail
  15. With the corner outfield spots traditionally being ones where offense is considered a key aspect, it should be rare to to have the bottom third of a lineup consist exclusively of the outfielders. And yet here we are, and it's not the first time over the past couple of seasons.
  16. May not be 20 seconds, but it's a hell of a lot less than 2 minutes unless Bowles uses all his timeouts, which I don't think he would do if he only needs a FG to win. The mistake in your sequence is that the 2 minute warning would actually hit BEFORE the first and goal snap if Chubb went down in bounds.
  17. 🧹+ 👢 please
  18. Stroud will be the first to admit he's fallen off since that rookie season, but he can still carve up defenses given time. It's absolutely unforgivable how bad his protection continues to be, especially in a city that should have learned the hard way how not to ruin a QB forever after the David Carr saga.
  19. They didn't need to punch it in to win. They needed to run 3 more plays and then send out an automatic kicker for a chip shot to take the lead with barely 20 seconds left after the Bucs used up 2 timeouts. Another way to look at it: once the Texans were in comfortable Kaimi range, the best thing that could have happened for the Bucs (short of a fumble) was a quick Houston score so Baker had maximum time with the ball. And that's exactly what they got. Given our complete inability to run all game, I wouldn't be surprised if their secondary let Chubb score once he burst through the first level.
  20. Too bad the odds of a beat reporter getting a straight answer from the Texans braintrust on the bad clock management are somewhere between zilch and nada.
  21. There is zero question that was stupid clock management. How's this even in doubt? Despite the Houston defense playing their tails off, Chubb needs to down inside the 5 instead of scoring the TD. Force the Bucs to use two timeouts and burn the 2 minute warning. Then, if you can't punch it in, you let Imi, who is damn near automatic, hit the chip shot for the lead. Yes there's a 1% chance he misses the chip shot, but you have your timeouts. Baker gets the ball with one timeout and 20 seconds left.
  22. We looking for someone on the Internet to get everyone's money before the draft and hold it during the summer?
  23. Lol on a freaking tiebreaker, awesome.
  24. Technique beat power, and it wasn't particularly close.
  25. Yeah I think Bud's definitely the more technically gifted boxer for me. -370 to go the distance, so we know what the oddsmakers think on KO possibility.
