  1. Where you hear that from? It's the Lakers, Clippers and Raptors. Previously there were some stories that threw the Knicks out there. From what I can tell, our main concern regarding Kawhi right now is his connection to Danny Green.
  2. I might've missed something, I'll admit I haven't been following all of the rumors and chatter, but what big fish have they been seriously selling out for this year? I think when Donnie or Mark have been asked about Durant et al, they answer truthfully that they'd gladly welcome them but no where have I seen that they're going all out or hedging everything on them like in recent years. Seems to me like they have been pretty realistic about their chances with those kind of names this time around.
  3. What's the current status of these embeds? I had one removed a week ago for an unknown reason (to me) but I see tons of them elsewhere every time I've gotten on since. Are they being removed ad hoc when someone specifically complains about it?
  4. Last night Jake quote tweeted an old video montage of Michael Jordan taking a series of hard fouls throughout the years, then claimed 80's-90's NBA players would get wrecked by current NBA players and that not only would LeBron injure those guys but John Collins would "grave" them. Pretty clear the dude didn't watch any basketball prior to 2009. Either that or is just hell-bent on proving his cool street cred with the youths by trolling all those out of touch olds.
  5. One of my favorite classes as well. Took it in '07 I think. Enjoyed the laid-back nature of the class. I remember him being an encyclopedia of info on all those old notable Texan writers and it seemed like just twentieth century Texas culture in general. First person I ever heard about Cormac McCarthy from. Fascinating guy.
  6. Fuck him. Fucking can't stand ESPN for giving people like that publicity at all in the first place.
  7. 2015 Leander Vandegrift graduate. Apparently attended Woodrow Wilson but didn't graduate from there.
  8. Do you even Pavement?
  9. Austin through and through.
  10. A lot of people that have bitched and moaned for two seasons about gratuitous fan service by the writers are the same people bitching about how Cersei didn't die violently enough.
  11. Just tuned in. What was Gordo's response to the caller?
  12. Agreed. Spread the word and tell all your friends.
  13. Nice. Total rushing yards Ced B would come in at 5 on that list. Total yds from scrimmage Eric Metcalf. Not too bad of a squad.
  14. Spinal stenosis diagnosis is what ended Cooper Manning's career.
  15. With about 9 mintues left in the second up by probably 17-18 I watched a possession where we passed up three beautiful wide the fuck open shots only to pass the ball around the perimeter another 15 seconds and be rushed into a shitty, contested long two that bricked off the rim.
  16. I really dig the Oddwood taproom. They make a tasty pizza and have fucking free NBA Jam arcade.

You tried Texas French Bread or Easy Tiger's?
  18. Driving by last Saturday night it looked like the parking lot was packed. Might've been some Cover 3 crowd though. How different is it from the Goodnight inside?
  19. At about what point did the shows abandon the daily call-in segments? Was it gradual over a few years or did everyone pretty much decide to drop them all at once? I remember riding around in the car with my pops in the mornings/evenings and can distinctly remember call-in conversations being prominent on all shows. Anyway, yada yada, fast forward to early 2010's and I start listening again and they're non-existent, thankfully.
  20. DMN posted some highlights from a recent Orlovsky appearance on Ben and Skin: Was Kellen Moore too young, too inexperienced to be fit as the Cowboys QB coach this season? Orlovsky: "I believe that Kellen's certainly capable, and you can make the case that that kind of showed itself this year. I know a big difference was when Amari Cooper came to town, and everyone knows the impact he had on the offense. But you saw [Dak Prescott]'s play get better and better. And I would probably say he was the better quarterback on the field in that playoff game loss. You can make that case and the film doesn't lie. "So, I believe that Kellen is completely capable to continue to lead that quarterback room. And the big part of it is going to go back to who they want as the coordinator, and does the coordinator have a guy that he wants, or does he believe in Kellen? "I know this. Kellen is on the fast track to being a really, really, really sought-after football coach. I believe that. Because he's grown up in an era that is going to fit the NFL right now and in the future. " ... This is my perception on what the Arizona Cardinals did with Kliff Kingsbury - just because you're old, or older, doesn't mean you're good at what you do. And just because you're young, or younger, doesn't mean you're not good. And so, the proof is in the day-by-day results. And I believe that the day-by-day results of the quarterback room, and the quarterback's performance this year proved that Kellen Moore is certainly capable and performing at a high enough level as the quarterback coach to be there."
  21. I know I'm late on this but evidently the brut IPA is the hazy/mosaic/SMaSH/west coast of 2019.
