  1. He’s fucked up so many NFL players in his career. He’s actually good and just playing like shit today. Like most of these slap dick fuck heads
  2. I hate these worthless cock suckers
  3. These bitch ass pussy fucks gave up
  4. This is what’s heading to the smoker. I added beans too. Beer was 3/4ths of a Yuengling. Swig for the cook, of course. Towards the end of the smoke I’ll add sweet corn, and then top it all with cilantro and shredded cheddar. Should be done by halftime
  5. Making a hearty stew/soup for the Liberty Bowl. It will have tomato purée, copious amounts of chili powder and cumin as well as this ground pork, cubed beef loin (our hog, my buddy’s cow) and sautéed japs, serranos, poblanos, onion, shallots, and garlic. I’ll probably dump a beer in and then set it out on my smoker for a good 5-6 hours.
  6. Gator absolutely needs an agonizing death. It’s just clear that he had no realistic chance to be a decent man.
  7. He was in Queens. Toured and everything IIRC. It was never intended to be permanent though, but that’s always kinda been Homme’s MO
  8. Always wonder if the Replacements would have actually sustained if Paul Westerberg had been about 5-10 years younger. A whole bunch of guys who ripped him off real good made a lot of money in the decade after the Mats hung it up.
  9. My wife is half Norwegian and that side of her family didn't drink much, and it doesn't really seem part of Norwegian culture, but I know plenty of those crusty fuckers that can knock 'em back.
  10. I assume it was the cash Gator gave him in the previous episode.
  11. I'd be stuffed off 13 wings nowadays, but back in college that was like a warm up. Especially if I had some weed in my system.
  12. This looks absolutely miserable. I mean, I'd shove my own mother into traffic for rain like this, but god damn that has to suck to play in.
  13. I think Munch just didn't really expect the killer to hang out as long as he did. I figured at first that the money in the car was a trap, but I just think it goes to show how little Munch care about it. His slipping on the opportunity to crush Gator was out of character, but we still have 3 episodes left and I figure they wanted to build a little more suspense. Plus, killing the old woman makes Gator even less likable.
  14. Roy has got to be the vilest villain in the Coenverse. His death is going to be absolutely gratifying. As others have said, I have some sympathy for Gator. His mom abandoned him and he was raised by a sociopath, but he's still an irredeemable piece of shit. I thought it was a great episode.
  15. Yeah, Grohl absolutely has to be in this conversation. He was in Queens. Played all the drums on their biggest album.
  16. I'm more team blue cheese when it comes to wings, but I'll abide the ranch in it's absence.
  17. I don't at all, but my wife's family and my mom's side of the family are very big on gift giving in general, so I'm just kinda stuck. Some years it ends up being pretty cool. I got 2 pieces of the Hilton Coliseum floor this year. That'll be a nice addition to the man cave.
  18. Turnpike Troubadours "A Cat in the Rain" - Evan Felker's comeback is everything I wanted it to be. Jason Isbell & The 400 Unit "Weathervanes" - Comeback album of the year. The king is back. Olivia Rodrigo "GUTS" - If the Blue Album had been made by a sexy 20 something instead of an emotionally crippled Gen X incel, it would sound like this. Joe Stamm Band "Wild Man"/"Fort Smith EP" - Midwest dude who is absolutely killing the country rock/heartland rock worship at the altar of Chris Knight thing. Dave Hause "Drive It Like It's Stolen" - Philly punk/folk/pop dude keeps cranking out stupid catchy stuff Cory Hanson "Western Cum" - Ridiculous name, ridiculous riffs. Windows down on the highway shit. Foo Fighters "But Here We Are" - Staggering tribute to Taylor Hawkins. Dave Grohl on drums. As vital as they've felt in over a decade. Lydia Loveless "Nothing's Gonna Stand In My Way Again" - One of the most underrated songwriters of the past decade makes her most fun record in close to a decade Queens of the Stone Age "In Times New Roman" - As noted above, a serious return to form Wednesday "Rat Saw God" - If the Hold Steady were from the South and fronted by a woman, they'd sound like this. Indie darlings, and deservedly so. Kyle Nix & the 38's "After the Flood Vol. 1" - Turnpike fiddle player drops legitimately excellent divorce album after showing some promise, but coming up a little short on his pandemic debut. This legit rips.
