  1. Been to Thailand multiple times. I love Thailand and always a good alternative but its just as easy to check out Koh Rong plus the Thai islands and Thailand are so over run with tourists. I'd prefer something a tad different.
  2. Did that many years ago. It is cool but no need to repeat
  3. I expect as much but I think we all need perspective. Im sure I can find a place to have a few Angkor beers post S21. The American war museum in Ho Chi Min with the pictures of kids and napalm wasn't exactly uplifting
  4. I just did a quick calculation. The hotel credit is a joke. Their hotels are always much more expensive. Looks like it still makes since for me Airline fee $200 Entertainment $300 Resy Credit $400 Uber $200 CLEAR $200 Walmart+ $144 SAKS $100 $1,544
  5. Ok all set. Now just need to focus on a restaurant or two. For anyone who cares 3 nights in Ho Chi Min - La Siesta Premium Saigon Hotel - Food tour and Mekong Delta https://lasiestahotels.com/saigon/ 2 night Phnom Penh - Raffles Hotel Le Royal - Kiling fields and S21 - Night market https://www.raffles.com/phnom-penh/ 4 nights Koh Rong - Koh Rong Hill Beach Resort - Chill beach pool read and probaly snorkeling and hopefully some fishing https://www.kohronghillbeachresort.com/ 1 night back in Phnom Penh - Pavillion Hotel - Ultimate PHnom Penh Food tour https://www.thepavilion.asia/ 3 nights Singapore - AMOY by Far East Hospitality - Looking for a tours and stuff to do https://www.fareasthospitality.com/en/hotels/amoy
  6. I've always just taken $100-200 cash to any country and ATM when l get there for local currency. More if it's a country on the dollar like El Salvador or Vietnam Cambodia etc. I almost always come home with the USD I took if it's a non USD country Dos and don'ts... Don't be an idiot and just be logical with your decision making
  7. Really surprised that's not a second yellow
  8. Seriously horrible lazy passing COYS!
  9. I've driven through it on my way Hue to Hoi An. Looks like a great spot. Right by China Beach and lots of super nice resorts .
  10. So I think because of the floods and rain I'm going to push Bali off to a better time. Instead I'm going back to Cambodia. Phnom Pen and the islands. I'll still keep Singapore and if I can maybe add KL
  11. Apparently my insensitive ass didn't realize that Bali is having horrendous floods and the entire island is flooded
  12. This is my concern dude. I was thnking some unders, thshirts and socks way down at the bottom might help me get a few more items in. Might give it a shot
  13. Put me in the camp that unless you want to go into a very very tightly networked industry like Wall St; it really doesnt matter where you go to school, relatively speaking. Especially if your kid has some work ethic and a personality. My son will end up with zero debt because he's getting free undergrad at Alamo College here and living at home. He wil be able to roll his 529 into his ROTH with an engineering degree from UTSA. He can spend the remainder of his 529 taking motorcycle mechnic courses because thats his passion. No AI or robot is going to fix a Ducati.
  14. So I think I'm pretty set unless someone wants to blow this iten up. With my being an empty nester in less than two years this will not be my last trip to SE Asia. I'll probably make a trek over to that part of the world once a year. 3 nights in Sai Gon - Food, drinks and motorbikes ringing in my ear 3 nights in Denpasar area in a nice boutique beach villa 3 nghts in Ubud - Temples and shit 3 nights in Singapore - Singapore shit
