After all the criticism I have given this game, I think they have really improved it over the last 3-4 updates. But… Now this is happening. I lost my RB1 in the conference championship game and now it is playing RB6 on 95% of the snaps in the playoff. I’ve restarted the game, changed the depth chart around, nothing works. My style is a ball control grind it out game with middle runs and short RPO/Screen passes. There is no way I can win with RB6. It’s incredibly frustrating.
Can we stop with the Gardare talk? Those teams were really bad 5-6 10-2 (shock the nation, which got smoked by the canes when it mattered) 5-6 6-5 4-0 against OU, sure. But barely .500 against everyone else.
Hard for a small company with no money to fight Microsoft or anyone big beast. Just like it’s going to be impossible for a federal employee to sue the US govt for promised severance pay and pension.
The fascination with a tackle having to be 6’5”+ has also seemed stupid to me. Teams are too on finding Tony Bosseli unicorns instead of guys who can actually play. Measurables have never made a player (see Mario Williams). What they do on the field and in practice should matter 95%.
My former company was as doing project for Microsoft. We had 50ish people working 17+ hours a day / 7 days a week to deliver an ambitious milestone. We delivered every bit of the contract and much more. Because of some internal politics they ended up refusing to pay and cancel the project. There response for not paying the milestone was “sue us, lol” 50 people lost their jobs the next day https://kotaku.com/how-a-small-game-studio-almost-made-it-big-1696997142
“Ted Cruz does something to benefit the people of Texas and the United States!” Oh wait, that’s something that has never been or never will be said. Once again Cruz says “fuck ‘dem kids…” https://arstechnica.com/tech-policy/2025/01/senator-ted-cruz-is-trying-to-block-wi-fi-hotspots-for-schoolchildren/
