  1. Looks like an 8 win team to me, which is about what I expected.
  2. it's uncanny how often we look like dogshit in the first half against the layup, end up pulling away and folks say 'what's the big deal, we covered.'
  3. They say great teams show their most improvement between games 1 and 2. I've never seen it, but they say that.
  4. can't teach a deep ball, and the kid ain't got it.
  5. Could someone use AI to create a sweaty, smacked out Tucker doing the glow sticks thing with the logo Tucker on X next to it?
  6. i miss a decade ago when a kidless @GreenspointTexas would tell everyone within a 6 hour drive they were pussies for not devoting their entire weekend to going to games.
  7. back to ukraine, but always back to you...but without the personal pronouns so it doesn't seem like you're constantly talking about yourself.
  8. Our national debt is A MASSIVE FUCKING PROBLEM. But back to the issue of subverting our democracy and attempting to override the will of the people through criminal acts and then violence...can you point to the things that Democratic party have done to destroy this grand experiment?
  9. you've had your fiber because that was a gigantic pile of shit for a post.
  10. just so I understand, you're blaming the Democractic party for our national debt. Is that correct?
  11. one side tried to violently stop the peaceful transfer of power after their attempts to send fake electors to cast ballots that ignored the will of the people failed. since "both sides", this should be an easy exercise: share with us what the democratic party has done to harm our democracy.
  12. anybody else look in the mirror and not a see a fascist-loving traitor rooting for the destruction of democracy in America?
  13. For the first time in a long time I turned on the TV to watch the news last night. My 10 year old daughter was there and as we sat there staring at the mugshot, I tried to explain to her the significance of this moment in time. I explained to her the radical notion that we, the people, get to decide our future. That we rose up and whooped the biggest baddest army on the planet for the right to decide our fate. That the building block of this great experiment was free and fair elections. The idea that all of us have a voice and that our voices all carry the same weight at the ballot box, and that our elected officials have honored that sacred exercise and handed over the reigns to the next duly elected representatives. I tried to explain to her what she was witnessing was one of the saddest and most dangerous moments in American history. That a leader came along and attempted to ignore the will of the people and in doing so destroy the fabric of our democracy and in doing so our country itself. As I was trying to explain all of this to her, I became filled with anger. And then as I was trying to describe the weight of all of it, and I looked at that mugshot and saw a truly evil, sickening human being staring menacingly back at us, the realization that I was looking at the GOP's next choice for President of the United States hit me. Then I got really, really sad.
  14. I think this is very important for people to think about. There are a most certainly millions of American cowards that support Donald Trump, root for the disintegration of everything it means to be an American, etc. But they aren't willing to risk their careers and lives to fight for that hate-filled future. The successful prosecution of the insurrections has had a chilling effect on these cowards.
  15. can't edit...any reason I shouldn't book the Lotte? It looks like the vibe I am imagining.
  16. that nebraska revenge game after the big12 championship is up there.
  17. Want to take my oldest (10) to see some shows and do all the things during christmas season. We live in a town of 5,000 people so it will blow her mind. Idea is to just do 3 nights (I start to go bonkers in NYC after about 36 hours), see 2 broadway shows, skate at rockefeller, and any other must do attractions. Any well-located hotel suggestions that have that old school NYC vibe? Any must see attractions that time of year? Also, any vegetarian restaurant suggestions?
