  5. Watch out for this guy: You couldn't handle his "Guatamalaness".
  6. His ego wrote a Czech his brain couldn't cash. (Yeah, yeah I know. I have no pride. If I said I was sorry for the shitty pun I'd be lion.)

  12. As a former single parent, I can attest that the best closing line in history is: "Take one down, pass it around, ZERO BOTTLES OF BEER ON THE WALL!"
  13. For the uninitiated, a heat lamp would dry it out. Sitting on it will mush it a bit, but at least it will still be moist. Pro Tip #234.
  14. It's "Oompa Loompa" and may we assume you didn't see the one at the far left holding the patient's claw?
  15. Make American (Cheese) Grilled Again!
  16. Oh please. Santa Ana had several more than competent generals at hand. A minimal force defended a walled fort and held off the main Mexican Army for almost two weeks. A smarter general would have left a small contingent to contain the Texans inside and merely bypassed San Antonio altogether. But Travis' cannon shot reply to the surrender demand pissed S Ana off mightily and he was not going to let that show of disrespect go unanswered. It took him two weeks to answer it. Make no fucking mistake about it - it took him two weeks.
  17. If the brakes don't stop it, something will.
  18. Another view:
  19. Another tin foil hat question: See that piece of what appears to be fuselage in the middle left? Are those windows?
  20. Dear Wally, Because the Alamo had walls, less than 200 brave Texicans, (some by birth, some by choice, but Texicans all), held out for two weeks against a much larger and continuously reinforced and resupplied force some ten times their numbers. Without those walls, they would not have lasted a day. Sam Houston wouldn't have had those two weeks to evacuate the civilians and collect and train the forces that would decimate Santa Ana's forces a few weeks later at San Jacinto. I suspect you're right in your inference that any wall, no matter how well constructed will permanently prevent a determined invasion, but it might buy us some time. Bet you thought Jussie was hate-crimed too didn't you? Sincerely, Also Surly
