  1. You had one of those fancy calculators that went to 8 digits. It was SheLL or BOOBS for me. Either way, I was a dork.
  2. I just spent a few days in Caye Caulker. I loved it. But for me, it's to visit, not for permanent residence.
  3. After three sixes in the last week, do I feel badly about pulling one out of my ass? No sir, I do not. Wordle 939 3/6 ⬛⬛⬛⬛⬛ ⬛🟩⬛⬛⬛ 🟩🟩🟩🟩🟩
  4. What the hell? 215??!!
  5. I'm curious as to why was she in court here? Anyone know?
  6. Today was year 2 of wordle. The Ace in year 2 wasn't real. Some kind of glitch and it was actually a 4. I'm definitely better in year 2. I have used the same starting word since sometime early in year 1 and it hasn't hit yet.
  7. You have to get the NOLA shitter on the podcast. I have to think he posts here.
  8. Found a picture of the bananas from my post above.
  9. A couple of years ago I was in Kauai and there was a fruit stand selling white pineapples that had been cut up. It was $5 for a small container but I wanted to try them so I bought one and brought the container back to the beach and opened it with the family to try. It was easily the best fruit I've ever tasted. After we finished it, I decided to go back and buy a bunch more but she only had two containers left. It was our last full day and I'll likely never taste a pineapple that good again. Also, to repeat what everyone else said, the best fruit is what is grown locally. The people who we were staying with grew these tiny bananas in their backyard. At full size, they were no more than 3 inches. I hardly ever eat bananas from the store but I had these every day I was there the entire 2 weeks. I'll probably never eat a store bought banana again.
  10. Upon reflection, putting a few points on that upset wasn't the wisest choice.
  11. I've never heard of that bowl. Where do they play it? Why do they have so many bowls? Who are these teams? Where is that school? What's it called again? Every damn year. Have a gummy for me please.
  12. I was 14 and the county agent had recruited several teens to plant trees for a Christmas tree farm. It was top pay at $5 an hour which sounded like a big deal to my dumb ass when minimum wage was $3.35. I was the youngest in the group. We get there and the job seems easy. Each sapling was only about 9 inches, and you poked a hole in the ground with your finger, moved 3 feet and repeat. After 8 hours of that, my back was killing me and my knees hurt from crawling in my jeans were soaked at the knees from the mud, but I knew my parents wouldn't let me quit. I showed up the the next week, the group working was half and the following week it was just me. The job was only on Saturdays and after about 6 weeks, I finally convinced my parents to let me quit. That job was lonely and I have no idea what the real purpose planting those saplings served. It must have been a front for something, but I have no idea what it was. Forty years later, only a few of those trees grew up and the place never became a Christmas tree farm between then and now. The main thing I learned from that job was that manual labor was not for me and to be careful about what kind of work you agree to get into. It's probably a lot harder than it sounds.
  13. This team absolutely dismantled Wiscy and Nebraska. What a championship performance!
  14. Hell yes! Take that corn! I have no idea of they are out of rotation, someone would have to explain it to me for me to pick it up.
  15. There was a little bit of leftover brisket. Decided to make nachos and discovered we were out of chips. Looked around and saw baby potatoes and ended up with smashed baby potatoes as the base. Was halfway through when I decided it was Shank worthy.
  16. Donated To JamesLaw's whiskey fund
  17. Quoting this pic. This is an athlete who knows how to win.
  18. Best match we have played this season. I went into today with low expectations and hoping for lucky breaks but some of the ladies really stepped up today. What a match!
  19. They may call in Alan Eck for the replay
  20. This has to be over
  21. Swindle is a badass!
  22. It was really kind of him to dumb it down closer to her level. He called it a math problem instead of using fancy words like ratio, fraction, and denominator.
  23. I've been trying to find a video of this and have no luck. Does anyone know if a link exists?
