  1. LOL, it's good to know I'm not the only one.
  2. Not sure, too much water? How does the rest of the plant look? I don't think that's a sign of nematodes.
  3. This site has an expert in laying pipe.
  4. So what happens if he's found guilty? Does he become governor right away, or does he have to wait for Abbott to roll aside?
  5. Let's not get ahead of ourselves just yet. It might not rain next year, either.
  6. 620 IS THE SOUTHERN KANSAS AREA CODE. HIS WAY OF SHOWING LOVE TO THE FOLKS BACK HOME.
  7. Here's a shot of my blackberries this morning. There are hundreds of them on just a few vines: And I think I mentioned these little wheeled seats before. It's a little cart you sit on and can wheel back and forth along your raised beds. There's even a little tray below the seat where you can hold tools.

  12. Yeah, in college I sat next to an Alex in art history. And he was always drinking coffee and after every sip he would go: "Ahh!". I mean every two seconds: "Ahh!". And he would take like 40 sips and after everyone: "Ahh!". I had to drop the class. (I always chuckle and say, "I had to drop the class" when I sip coffee and go "Ahh").
  13. Nice! My blackberry vines are pretty full of baby berries like that. This is my first year with them, and I'm wondering if the birds are going to fight me for them. I have one bed that the strawberries took over. I had like 3 or 4 plants last year, and they sent out runners everywhere, and I just let them go. So this year they are producing pretty well, but most of the berries are rotting where they sit on the dirt. I think I need to provide some pine needles or other mulch to prevent rot. Y'all have much experience with that? But damn, there's nothing like a fresh sun-warmed strawberry.
  14. Losing business to New Mexico. Nice job, Greg. "Texas Governor Greg Abbott’s border crackdown is generating fresh backlash, with Mexico’s economy minister announcing that a new rail line to the U.S. would now go via New Mexico instead of the Lone Star State. “We’re now not going to use Texas,” Economy Minister Tatiana Clouthier said at a conference Thursday in Mexico City, referring to a planned rail and ports expansion known as the T-MEC Corridor to connect the Pacific port of Mazatlan to the Canadian city of Winnipeg. “We can’t leave all the eggs in one basket and be hostages to someone who wants to use trade as a political tool.” Clouthier’s message was clear: Mexico is angry about the chaos at the border caused by Abbott’s surprise order a few weeks back to force commercial trucks coming from Mexico to undergo additional inspections. While Texas officials didn’t uncover any contraband or undocumented migrants, they created hours-long delays that left fresh produce to rot and caused havoc with supply chains." https://www.bloomberg.com/news/articles/2022-04-29/texas-border-chaos-spurs-rebuke-from-mexico-s-economy-minister
