It's deeper than that. They're pathologically afraid of women. Like a small child who never played catch because they're afraid of the ball.
This is what I see. My son, who is a good looking kid and smart as a whip, along with being a good conversationalist, never had a girlfriend in HS. And less than a handful of his classmates did ( granted, a class of maybe 120 kids). They never went out in mixed groups. It’s just so different. It wasn’t until his sophomore year of college that he did finally find a girlfriend and having lacked any prior experience with relationships, fell head over heels and they’ve been inseparable for the last 2 years. She’s a nice girl, but I so wish he would play the field more and experience variety. But it’s like he fears being cast back adrift and that he won’t find anyone else that he just tightens his death grip on her, and she on him. I very much expect them to play this out to marriage. And it bums me out. But it doesn’t surprise me.

Silver lining is, the US is way more diverse and populous than 1930s Germany so straight up genocide wouldn't fly, which is why they're having to use ICE to pick away at the most vulnerable people in the margins.
I just watched "Conspiracy" for about the 5th time over the weekend, and my thoughts kept coming back to that idea. I have to think there have definitely been some Wannsee-esque type meeting at DHS and elsewhere.

Plains, Trains and Automobiles. Got to see it on the big screen at Regal. I had not seen the movie since I was a kid when we rented it at a video store. The scene where Candy drives the wrong way and they are sitting on the trunk watching the car burn had me crying laughing. I don’t know why, but that got me the most. Candy and Martin together was just a great pairing. Martin cussing out the woman at the rental car counter was hilarious as well. Beautiful movie.
I can recite basically the whole movie. Top 1 movie for me
