  1. And fried livers or gizzards with that gravy @Brisketexan
  2. Bush's in Fairfield is the only logical answer. The Corsicana store is too far from I-45. And nobody ever really need to go to Groesbeck.
  3. Probably a little casual, but when my son was at UNT, he loved it when I would host him and his friends at Hoochies Oyster House. Fun place, especially when the trains went by! I thought Tim Love opened up a place near the square, to the east, but don't know if that survived or whether you would be generally opposed to patronizing him
  4. https://www.osteriamuro.com/ Hard to score reservations, but worth it.
  5. Truth! I've learned how to make that recipe pretty well, but my wife makes me do it outside. The smell is godawful! I use pork rind panko, so it is totally keto.
  6. Great play sequences lately!

  12. What are we calling this party on the signs this year? Surly? Burnt Ends? OTF? Mule Dick?
  13. All of that land around the Dell campus in RR had negative equity in the 1980s due to bond obligations. RTC/FDIC was willing to sell it for a song and we had an investment group put together. I was def judgement-proof back then. Instead, I decided that I needed to go long into diapers and baby formula. Woulda, shoulda, coulda.
  14. This ain't good. Black-owned barbecue joint announces temporary closure, reopening date uncertain https://www.kxan.com/news/local/austin/black-owned-barbecue-joint-announces-temporary-closure-reopening-date-uncertain/ Anybody else still doing mutton in Austin area?
  15. Thanks, Imma (and Leslie) for hosting another epic Surly party!
  16. Thanks for putting up with so much bullshit, Imma. It is going to be a fabulous season!
  17. misspelled "little brother"
  18. And Cloward-Piven is exactly accurate for the border opening that we just experienced
  19. Yeah, we have been doing that drill for years. Non-citizens have no due process. Economic cases have no basis for amnesty. Cloward-Piven strategy at work. No thank you.
  20. I get that there may have been some mistakes, but I don't buy the idea of many dire outcomes for people who are legit. If that happened, it shouldn't have. I am not a bomb thrower, despite my reputation here!
