  1. How do they even allow that to happen? Isn't the Gold Cup schedule out months in advance?
  2. This team is going to struggle mightily to guard the perimeter. We can see this coming from a mile away, right?
  3. He also got smoked on Costa Rica's 2nd goal. To be fair LDT was also involved, but it was pathetic defending.
  4. Very bizarre indeed. Isn’t that part of the reason we subbed on Mcglinn?
  5. Yea Agyemang has to play but Poch needs to pull the trigger on subs faster. Who you bringing in for Berhalter?
  6. I’m stoked about the win and the team overcoming adversity. I don’t know wtf Arsten has to do to play himself off the field, but he cannot be much worse. I don’t give a shit about his goal. He doesn’t belong at this level, forget about next summer.
  7. PKs with Navas. What could possibly go wrong?
  8. Way too late for the subs, Poch. Arfsten also cost you the game because he’s a terrible defender.
  9. I think CP is probably the best stopgap we can get until Kyrie is healthy. Then he also won't throw much of a fit when he's moved to the bench.
  10. Apparently this is a climbing salary each year, meaning he took a reduced salary this upcoming season. Because of that, the Mavs are under the 2nd apron and have a $5.7 million exception they can use now. So if you want Chris Paul, you at least have something over the vet minimum to offer.
  11. Happy Capture the Flagg Day. I may or may not have stolen that from elsewhere.
  12. Agreed. If it was played and an appropriately-sized stadium, all this talk about attendance is a non-issue.
  13. Canada is going to be fine making it through the group, but they do not look good after that first game.
  14. Agyemang is a dream fit for a championship side.
  15. I guess the extension makes him a more valuable trade asset.
  16. Miami up 1-0 on Palmerias. Would be group winners if results hold.
  17. Why leave Juventus and champions league ball next season? Is he going to play more at Forrest?
  18. Many years from now, history will look back on how the Supreme absolutely failed to do it's most basic job. Incredible that we live in an America that allows this.
  19. US Soccer says 20,918. That feels about right to me.
  20. Just got back. I get the Agyemang hate, I really do. But watching in person gave me a lot of perspective and how much of an absolute handful he is for central defenders to deal with. Haiti was a very large team in the back but they were on the ground all night. Tillman is an absolute stud on defense. Should have had 2 more goals to go with it. My initial thought on the goal conceded was Ream should not have played the ball. But watching the replay, yea, keeper effed up there. If we finished our chips, this would have been a blowout. Hopefully better finishing to come in the knockouts. Took the boy to his first game ever tonight so went for the good seats. Overall, the crowd filled in pretty nicely for such a large stadium. I had way lower expectations.
  21. I’m very interested to see how few people are at Jerry World today. I grabbed a pair in the lower bowl right next to the midfield for $109 per ticket. Not bad.
  22. WTF. How did that even happen? I was thinking they were the favorite to win this whole thing.
  23. Is he a starter? No. Is he in the discussion to make the roster? At this moment, yes. We’ll see how he looks when he goes up against Costa Rica or Mexico.
  24. I also didn't realize we're going to play the loser of Costa Rica and Mexico. Knockouts are going to be really tough with this group we have.
  25. Agreed. This is was satisfying, to me, in a weird way. The team needs to learn how to solve problems like the one presented tonight, and I thought the 2nd half showed a lot of promise despite it only being 1-0. I do think we need to figure out who the mids are going to be. I guess Adams and Berhalter?
