What were you thinking there Dak?- Dallas Cowboys 2025 season thread: 8-9 and divine. The world according to Jerry
Holy shit, that catch- Holy shit you dipshits: 9-3 Texas is probably in the playoffs
It's an SEC requirement to have at least one P4 school on your schedule. So you guys need to come up with better alternate teams than Samford and Rice. At least do like whiny fat Ketch and say Baylor instead of Ohio State.- Dallas Cowboys 2025 season thread: 8-9 and divine. The world according to Jerry
A stop! And all for not you fucking idiot- NFL Week 12
What a terrible end of regulation series for the Chiefs.- NFL Week 12
83 caught that with his nuts.- Holy shit you dipshits: 9-3 Texas is probably in the playoffs
Well we're a pretty shitty road team.....- Liverpool FC 2025-26: #20 in memory of #20 Diogo Jota
Yeah the mentality of last season is gone. They fold when scored on first. Ultimately, that's on Slot to correct but Konate is about as bad as we've seen at that position since the early struggles of Gomez. Agree on Hugo needing to start over Isak but that's not happening given the money spent. I don't blame Isak but I still wonder why he was such a priority for Slot's system and what they based the need to buy him upon. I didn't watch much of him before we got him so I plead total ignorance on that. Did they think him + Wirtz was going to be a magical pairing? It's so odd how the offense started out really well and then fell off a cliff after the window closed.- Holy shit you dipshits: 9-3 Texas is probably in the playoffs
Right. Notre Dame's two losses are by a combined 4 points. Take out Ohio State and our two conference losses are by a combined 31 points. As much as I don't like Notre Dame's special situation they have throttled every other team they've faced.- Arch Manning: Scores every way possible
I enjoyed that Arch took advantage of the awful coverage of the Arkansas secondary and hit on some deep throws. Heading into yesterday, there was a stat that in our losses Arch was attempting an average pass of 11 yards and in the wins it was closer to 6 yards. The thought being he was pressing during the losses and we weren't connecting on short routes that were happening with Wingo in the victories like Vandy. He would've had more yards if some drops didn't happen. Play action looked great yesterday too which is amusing since we don't run the ball much.- Could this be the craziest coaching carousel of all time?
Just putting if off another year, I see.- Holy shit you dipshits: 9-3 Texas is probably in the playoffs
Ole Miss would only have 2 losses and would still be in at probably 9 or 10. Now if Lane announces he's going LSU and not coaching the playoff then I could see the committee taking a look at dropping them out. But yes, us winning handedly and OU or Bama losing would help keep us in the conversation.- Holy shit you dipshits: 9-3 Texas is probably in the playoffs
The blowout by Georgia is why we won't be in. That dropped us 7 spots behind all the 2 loss teams that didn't get blown out by 24 to another playoff team. Had we lost by a FG or a TD we would still be up there. But we looked like absolutely dogshit in the 4th. The committee before that game was giving us the highest 2 loss ranking and keep us in over 1 loss Big 12 teams. The loss then destroyed that. It showed we weren't a playoff worthy team, which we aren't. The only thing that might get us consideration is if we blow out aggy.- This is who Steve Sarkisian is.
Yeah I've been wanting Sark to take the points for two seasons and he did at the exact right time. Ball back first in the 2nd half when Arkansas had shown no ability to stop us from getting points. And then we blew them out in the 3rd. Kind of a silly thing to be the final straw but that's Surly.- This is who Steve Sarkisian is.
Sark seemed exactly the same in his post-game press conference as he has in any one I've ever seen him do. He sounded the same when he was on the radio with Craig Way and mentioned his wife makes a great side for Thanksgiving that he's looking forward to eating. He'll be the same on Monday when he has his press conference. You guys are yet again reading way too much into something.- Is there a good reason to not play a shit team in late November?
Yes, most SEC teams have moved all of their OOC games to September. The only teams that haven't are Ole Miss and Mizzou. Any teams with ACC permanent rivals will continue to play them on rivalry weekend at the end of November.- Is there a good reason to not play a shit team in late November?
It was a blow out. They scored 21 points in the 4th. We had a chance until it got into the 4th and then it was over. The Florida loss is worse because they are one of the worst SEC teams. It's also one that looking back makes no sense at all.- Is there a good reason to not play a shit team in late November?
That is next year you fucking moron like I said. The OOC cupcake outside of a few teams is gone. Everyone is moving their OOC to September unless they have an OOC rival like Florida, Georgia, South Carolina, and Kentucky.- Texas vs. Arkansas - 2:30pm on ABC

Tough but fair- Texas vs. Arkansas - 2:30pm on ABC
No, I'm pointing out how some on this stupid website can't just enjoy wins now because we're not going to make the playoff. This season can still be a success without making the playoff. Today was fun. Arch did something no other player has ever done at Texas. He had his best game so far. We beat a team some on here were convinced we would lose to or get blown out by. If that's strawmanning people then so be it. This site has been a miserable experience the past week because people love to swim in misery.- Is there a good reason to not play a shit team in late November?
Well since you asked for it: Alabama: 09/05 - East Carolina 09/12 - USF 09/19 - Florida State Arkansas: 09/05 - North Alabama 09/12 - at Utah 09/26 - Tulsa Auburn: 09/05 - vs Baylor (in Atlanta, GA) 09/12 - Southern Miss 09/26 - Jacksonville State Georgia: 09/05 - Tennessee State 09/12 - WKU 09/19 - at Louisville LSU: 09/05 - Clemson 10/03 - McNeese Miss St: 09/05 - ULM 09/12 - at Minnesota 09/19 - Troy OU 09/05 - UTEP 09/12 - at Michigan 09/19 - New Mexico Tennessee: 09/05 - Furman 09/12 - at Georgia Tech 09/19 - Kennesaw State aggy: 09/05 - Missouri State 09/12 - Arizona State Vandy: 09/05 - Austin Peay 09/12 - Delaware 09/19 - NC State- Texas vs. Arkansas - 2:30pm on ABC

And we're telling your dumb ass that everyone is switching to playing bad teams in September going forward. SEC teams with non-SEC rivals will play an SEC opponent in September. The November cupcake is going away. Take a look here and you will see most of the OOC games are in September now. https://fbschedules.com/sec-football-schedule/ We should never be afraid to play big name OOC games. Georgia doesn't. Bama doesn't. OU doesn't. Do you not remember beating Ohio State in 2005 being a launching point for a championship run? If we hadn't gotten blown out by Georgia, the Ohio State game would be saving our ass as far as a playoff berth. Getting blown out by Georgia and losing to shit ass Florida is the issue, not fucking Ohio State. - Dallas Cowboys 2025 season thread: 8-9 and divine. The world according to Jerry
