  1. bookfaggy, but no spoilers.
  2. You may want to avoid certain scenes in GOT that contain spoilers for this show. I won't provide any details obviously other than the scenes in question:
  3. I had no idea pretty boy Cole engendered so much animus, here and across the intertubes. Regardless, it’s nice to be watching a show that’s generating some actual discussion, like the early days of GOT. It’s been a while since I actually gave a shit about a TV show. Team Black for me (I guess).
  4. For all the bitching I have done about this show, I will say the dialogue has been excellent. I'm not a book reader, so I don't know if the writers are just lifting from the fat man or if they are doing heavy lifting on their own, but bravo.
  5. agree; neither the wife nor the mistress is very attractive IMO.
  6. I guess I was never bothered by all this as much as others were . . . I never really cared about Cole one way or the other. These transgressions seem par for the course in Westeros. I mean Daemon very likely signed off on or ordered baby beheading, and he seems to still be viewed as a "goodish" guy. Even Tyrion is hardly noble. He put goatshit in a relative's boot and blamed a squire who was nearly beaten to death. He jerked off in the turtle soup and hoped his sister ate it. It's a rough world in the GOT universe.
  7. What's the knock on Cole? Is it because he was a bitch boy about being Rhyneera's plaything, but is now perfectly content being a boytoy for mrs green? Or people just don't like the actor? Maybe I forgotten something (entirely possible).
  8. There's a scene in TV GOT where a certain bad guy basically spoils how this is all gonna end. It meant nothing to me at the time, but I rewatched some old clips on youtube and caught it. I recommend not doing that for HOTD fans.
  9. Yeah, I took it to mean he was the sea snakes Jon Snow.
  10. That was a great episode! Finally, shit went down.
  11. Also, who cares if she fucks the bartender? I ff through that shit. That’s the type of filler bullshit that gets eliminated in a 2 hour movie.
  12. That was essentially the "twist" in that HBO miniseries with Hugh Grant that most have very nearly forgotten about, also by David E Kelley. The creepy dude that's maybe falsely accused did it all along. Not a great twist IMO.
  13. It's grown kinda meh for me. I find myself fast forwarding through scenes with characters I don't care about. I still like some of the shock humor (breastfeeding homelander . . . lulz), but the 1st season was great because of all the intrigue behind the supes' backstory and the vought operation. That's all gone now, and the satire is so on the nose now that it's as ridiculous as the gore humor. Satire works best when it's clever and at least slightly subtle. If next season is gonna be the last season (what I've heard), they should have just made that this season.
  14. it's releasing weekly.
  15. cool front pushing through N Texas. In fucking July. Super jealous.
  16. Oh the shark, babe, has such teeth, dear And he shows them pearly white You know when that shark bites with his teeth, babe Scarlet billows start to spread
  17. ^that html markup for besthugecocks.com is wild
  18. Only search for the video on twitter if you want to see a poor lady missing her calf. Brutal.
  19. You yell "Barracuda," everybody goes "huh, what?" You yell "Shark," and we got a panic on our hands on the 4th of July.
  20. I predicted Skarsgard as the killer earlier, speculating he was the guy at work that Pulanis was scared of. But now that they actually showed a scene confirming my suspicions, I am doubting that prediction - it seems too obvious now.
  21. That's one of my big problems. I remember when the Stark ancestor was onscreen a few episodes back, I was like "fuck yeah, a good guy." But nope, back to KL and dragonstone to dwell on rotten people.
  22. If you loved GOT, you should watch it. It has much, much slower pacing. . . lots of buildup to an eventual war we all know is coming. It's a much smaller story (1 book for the whole show). It's nowhere near as good as peak GOT (like seasons 1-3), but it's much better than the shit David and Dan put out at the end of GOT where they ran out of book material and were just throwing shit to the wall as hastily as they could.
