  3. Why it's necessary for gov't agencies to stop using xitter for emergency communications - the screenshot was from last night
  4. They appear more and more incompetent every time they open their mouths so I assume it's because they're covering up something other than incompetence. Up until a couple of weeks ago I gave no thought to the idea that Epstein hadn't killed himself but now the idea he wasn't murdered seems unlikely. New development in the attempts to get the files:
  5. I gather there were two CBS News reports about Epstein's "suicide" yesterday. The second article seems equally if not more more problematic. https://www.cbsnews.com/news/jeffrey-epstein-jail-video-investigation/ CBS News investigation of Jeffrey Epstein jail video reveals new discrepancies CBS News has also sought interviews with Tova Noel and Michael Thomas directly and through their attorneys. They have not responded but have previously denied any involvement in actions that could have contributed to Epstein's death. Robert Hood, a former Bureau of Prisons chief of internal affairs and warden of the Supermax facility in Colorado, said he has reviewed the inspector general's report, and in an email told CBS News: "In my opinion, the summary investigative reports don't provide adequate details concerning Epstein's death. … The BOP's new director (William Marshall) should provide internal investigative reports concerning the MCC involving Epstein's death and related historical data at the jail." Mark Epstein, Jeffrey Epstein's younger brother, has long voiced his belief that his brother did not die by suicide, but was murdered. He spoke with CBS News and said without a recording of the camera in the actual tier where Epstein was housed, it is unclear if the door to his brother's prison cell had been properly locked or if other prisoners could have had access. That tier housed as many as 14 inmates and only three voluntarily spoke to investigators, according to the IG report. Only one has been identified publicly by name. Alyssa Spady, Hannah Marr and Layla Ferris contributed to this report.

  7. I don't know what a kid would think of it but there's a product called Ayr I recommend to make breathing more comfortable at high altitude. Saline gel to put in your nose. A tube runs less than 4usd.

  10. FT today edit - link Donald Trump’s tariff blitz brings US levies to highest levels since 1930s
  11. Sounds like more than that. There's greater demand for torrenting high quality porn, esp. new porn, which they (allegedly) downloaded and continually seeded in order to get preferential treatment by the torrent to be able to download other material with far weaker demand that they also wanted. I haven't torrented for years but the more you "share" the more you're able to download and able to dl at faster speeds. They wanted the porn for their ai, allegedly, but also for increasing what else they could dl from the web.
  12. I've seen it theorized that autogenocide is the point of all this madness. Curious about y'alls thoughts.
  13. According to the article the lawsuit addresses this. Meta's ip addresses were downloading a huge amount of data - ebooks, music, software, etc -- that doesn't match the use pattern of an individual.
