  1. Best turnover prop ever!!
  2. This show has been good right from the jump but it has gotten REALLY good the last 2 episodes.
  3. Aren’t they all former soccer players?
  4. TD overhead shot shows arm over the line endzone shot shows ball in that arm
  5. Can’t argue with any of that. And you’ve nailed the point of this thread... Illustrating absurdity by being absurd The college model is absurd. Applying it to the NFL is equally absurd (but I really do think the 2 SB teams will come from that group of 4 - can’t say which 2 right now - but I fully expect an upset to happen somewhere)
  6. What is the “this” to which you are referring? And how is your bet any different from my (b) question? (other than the fact that it’s impossible for the SB to be comprised of more than 2 of the 4 teams - phrasing - lol) I understand you gist - and yes I do think the SB will be made up of 2 of those 4 but no, I do not believe that those 4 will be the CCG participants I do agree that the college model is and has been stupid for a long while.
  7. Yeah, and it should be called in other games too!! I hate that it isn’t.
  8. now that no call is WAY worse than the late
  9. Yes it was. In real time it was closer than in slow mo but Pat was def still a runner
  10. Inspired by the CFP, I started an NFL top 4 thread earlier today - I don’t want to bump that one but if I did, this would be what I’d say... Delete thread. Ban user. Geez, KC is playing nothing like a top 4 team tonight.
  11. Love has tried to throw a 1/2 dozen picks or so tonight - Chefs D just can’t make a play on the ball
  12. Collinsworth is a beating. That FG forces PMIII to HAVE to score a TD, a a KC FG isn’t good enough
  13. A) Does anyone disagree that the top 4 teams are SF, Philly, KC, Miami? B) Does anyone think that any of those 4 will not make it to their CCG?
  14. I didn’t bring up TCU, was just responding to other TCU comments. And I haven’t said that FSU wasn’t screwed. But I have stated that I understand the SOS between Bammer and Tomahawk being a big factor.
  15. I’m no fan of the committee. I think they’ve screwed many teams over the life of CFP. TCU was not the first nor the only non-conf-champ to make the cut. The 20/20 hindsight about TCU is based on the ass-kicking delivered to them by Georgia. And I believe the win over Michigan prior to that ass-kicking validated them being there.
  16. I hate this take. TCU handled Michigan pretty easily. What Georgia did in the final is irrelevant to the conversation
  17. Big difference between the 5th and 55th sos it wasn’t 5 vs 15 it the 5th vs 55th!!!! That nearly half of all CFB between them.
  18. no the justification will be that the UT loss to OU > Bama the loss UT > the UGA loss to Bama
  19. I think he just kicked it up a notch or two this week
  20. I missed my edit window and my brain hurts to try and correct my error with further explanation but what you point out isn’t it as I was focused on Texas’ path which by default begins with a win vs oSu.
  21. There’s a metric regarding non-champs that you all are forgetting - having a reg season win over the champ - applies to Wash/Oregon but only them. And no one is projecting Wash to make it if they lose. Georgia is the only potential CCG loser with a shot at making the top 4 and that’s because they are currently #1 - if they were 2 or lower the odds would increase for them to miss out - but they are currently #1 so they have a shot. No one else has a shot as a non-champ - tOSU, sorry you’re out - you have zero path. other CCG participants, doesn’t matter if your lone loss is in the CCG - lose and you’re out. Except UGA, and we’ve already discussed them. So, conference champs. I think Bama is in with a win. and if Wash, Mich, and FSU all win - they’re in and Texas and UGA are out. If two of those 3 lose, UT and UGA are both in. But if just one of those 3 falls, then obviously a 1 spot opens up and I can see a scenario where UT’s loss to OU weighs more than their win over Bama and over #1 Georgia’s lone loss being to the conf champ Bama. UGA in, Horns out. So, Texas best shot? Go Cardinals Equally good for Texas but less likely to happen - Go Haweyes An Oregon win? I agree that Texas chances here are massive with a win over SEC champ but I don’t trust the committee to again rank that win over the negative loss to OU vs the Duck’s loss to Udub.
