  1. nice thorough pre-made opinion where they just add in the excoriation of the oral argument and hit print. ww3.ca2.uscourts.gov/decisions/isysquery/cd184457-25de-4158-8178-e16298a614d4/1/doc/25-1019_opn.pdf At oral argument before this Court, the government first stated that it does not know who Öztürk’s immediate custodian was while she was in transit at approximately 10:01pm and then took the novel position that Öztürk’s immediate custodian at that time was the warden of the Vermont facility to which she had not yet arrived. The government cited no authority for this contention, and it is at odds with the straightforward rule set out in Padilla that the proper respondent to a habeas petition is “’the person with the ability to produce the prisoner’s body before the habeas court.” 542 U.S. at 435 (quotation marks omitted). As the Supreme Court instructed in Padilla, “the default rule is that the proper respondent is the warden of the facility where the prisoner is being held,” id. (emphasis added), not the person who will at some unspecified future time have the ability to produce the prisoner’s body or the warden of a facility where the prisoner is not yet being held.
  2. Listen to it here. https://ww3.ca2.uscourts.gov/decisions
  3. Why has no one really gone for the brass ring and just called themselves Pope Jesus?
  4. alright, guys. that's all for 2025. see you next year.

  6. sitting pretty good on the LBJ and Buchanan basins
  7. I sold a little SPY Friday. About 5%. Just went to cash with it for the time being.
  8. His run from last weekend was uploaded now. Same as before: lets people think it is a race for 600 meters, turns it on with 200 left
  9. Would an infinite number of men win? Of course. So some number less than infinity would win. What is that number? What is happening at 1,000,000 men that isn't happening at 100?
  10. The problem is that the poem is really long in real life. 99% of the people supporting this are confident they will never be deported. And they’re right. That’s the problem. Celebrating others pain is a human failing here.
  11. All we have to do is be as good at our job as Warren Buffett is
  12. c'mon. little S&P that could. almost there buddy
  13. S&P gonna try to make it happen today.
  14. you should brush, floss, brush. it is weird to end with the thing that is supposed to jar particulates loose, but not have a cleaning afterward.
  15. I went to watch the son of one of my buddies run the 800. Dude is a phenom. Won 5A last year as a freshman. Won 6A this year as a sophomore. This is his run as a freshman, which is my favorite. Lady’s voice jumps an octave when he starts his kick.
  16. Your plan something like "Take the Rangers under"?
  17. They're both good, but I don't think that's right. I do Vanguard funds pretty much precisely because I don't want to be charged fees.
  18. You could get those same messages every day off TexAgs. I think I've seen literally the exact same "drug free" post in prior years.
  19. Also, I just started buying VUG, which I wasn't familiar with. It's a tech heavy SPY, currently, more or less. I saw their numbers and historically the returns are off the charts. I remember reading somewhere that past performance is a guarantee of future results, so we will see. Current composition at the top: Stupid history so far.
  20. To counter my general retardasia on the STONK thread, I can say that I got half of my SPY this year at a great valley, so that is already shaping up nicely. I got a bunch at $515. It dropped down to $510 so I did it again. I think $508 was the minimum before that turnaround. Nearly nailed it.
  21. oh, i'm sorry. somebody is at -75%, -89%, -93%, -96% now.
