  1. “Hell is empty, and so is our offensive depth chart”
  2. How can we afford to pay Clark with all the money we are not paying these other guys?
  3. Someday, he will look back and realize that however much more he made this year from Oklahoma was nowhere near enough to justify losing the opportunity to catch passes from Arch in a contract year and having the entire fanbase of his favorite childhood team turn on him. He will be richer in a year because he chose OU. He will be much, much poorer in the long run.
  4. This link has enraged me to the point I may need to turn off the internet for a while and walk around for a bit.
  5. Yeah, this is much closer to where I am. I don’t blame the 9.95ers. If you follow this stuff long enough, you can generally tell the kind of information being fed to them. You can tell when they’ve been told someone is a lock, you can tell when they’ve been told we are a sneaky contender, and you can tell when they’ve been told we have no shot. It’s obvious that this staff viewed a few guys as locks that ended up not working out. Overoptimism appears to be a pattern with this staff, and when you are letting current productive players leave then you need to be sure that your free agent reads are accurate. I don’t know that this staff has earned the benefit of the doubt in that regard, in my opinion. I’m fine letting Tre Wisner walk. I’m not fine if that means merely hoping that the person we end up signing will be as good as Tre Wisner.
  6. As bad as that day felt, there was a little relief in the thought of “at least this is all over.” Turns out it was only the beginning.
  7. I agree with your takes like 99% of the time on here, but it’s very obvious that the staff was feeding the 9.95ers an overly rosy picture that has not remotely developed. There’s of course still time to correct, but ignoring that this first weekend has not gone according to plan is ignoring reality.
  8. I have no idea if Coleman is the best use of the funds required to get him, but perception-wise you cannot lose this kid to aggy unless you have a hell of a plan b.
  9. And regardless of what ACTUALLY happens, millions of Americans now believe that Hegseth punished Kelly for his actions. Again, the end result generally doesn't really matter to these guys. It's all about the theatre.
  10. None of this is super surprising to those of us that follow this shit closely, but millions of Americans just got an Apple News alert stating that the US has reduced their vaccine requirements. Without proper context, that fucking sucks.
  11. Is today your first day following American politics?
  12. The NO CLOAK ROOM!!!!! banshees gonna show up for this one?
  13. And because he's a Democrat, the portion of the population that are unable to think for themselves have REALLY REALLY started to care about Minnesotan preschools.
  14. Quick to reply here but not to my last post in this thread...
  15. "Someone on your team resigning over something that someone on my team never would!!!" Quite the flex.
  16. FWIW, this is why right wing media wins. They can bring an issue where NOBODY knows the concrete details to the forefront of the national conversation and create a narrative purely based on vibes.
  17. This is a hell of a marketing campaign for that new Gerard Butler movie.
  18. Either we’re fucked or Baugh is about to get generationally wealthy.
  19. Demogorgons could rip President Trump’s limbs apart on national TV and you would assuredly be able to get countless interviews with people happy that he’s gone. One’s opinions on regime change does not necessarily mean there’s a blind support to get there by any means necessary. Maduro fucking sucks, but there are obvious ramifications to this shit to anyone who dares live in the real world.
  20. For anyone wondering her motivations lately, think she let it slip with that last sentence.
  21. Shit like this really highlights how most of the population is only capable of viewing news items in black and white. Asking “why are you supporting Maduro?!?” to anyone who dares point out the potential ramifications of an event like this.

  23. They probably just spent ten minutes in any locker room anywhere on earth and got more than enough data points.
