  1. Seven straight years: "LOCK HER/HIM UP!!!!!!" The last week: "Allowing the arrest of your political rival is shameful and dangerous for the country"
  2. I went to high school with a kid who eventually got drafted as a defensive lineman in the first round of the NFL draft. Our high school played him at RB. It was absurd. He was bigger and stronger and faster than every other person on the field. I'm sure there are kids at my high school who lost out on potential athletic scholarships because they had the misfortune of being stuck behind a genetic freak on the depth chart. I'm sure there are kids at other schools in the district who didn't get to shine in a playoff game because they lost a game that they probably would have won with a "normal" RB. I'm sure there are coaches who eventually lost jobs, injuries that occurred, and so on... all as a result of this one player. Is that fair? How do you even define fair when it comes to sports? Do you care about the lost trophies and scholarships in this scenario or only when there's a boogeyman to point fingers at?
  3. The world will get a little bit brighter when Hotze leaves it.
  4. Multiple times in the past few months, we have been over at my parents with their grandkids and my dad has stopped everything to turn on Tucker Carlson. Literally, one of the times he looked at the clock and it was 7:01 and you'd thought he was about to miss kickoff at the Super Bowl by how fast he moved to find the remote. He doesn't discuss what he is watching with anyone else, but it's just there... on in the background. He used to roll his eyes and redirect his father when he would bring up "SOB Obama" at family dinners, and now my dad is worse than my grandfather ever was. I don't know why that network is like crack to an entire generation of people, but it indisputably is.
  5. Democrats need to fully lean into "woke" simply meaning "something I don't like." Start referring to "woke" gun laws and "woke" tax cuts and "woke" insurrectionists. There's still enough time to make the term completely meaningless by the next election.
  6. People seem to be so concerned with kids seeing dudes in dresses, but it is noticeable that nobody seems to wonder what participating in lockdown drills as early as preschool are doing to our children. I can't imagine my two-year old daughter practicing hiding in a bathroom will have a positive effect on her development.
  7. LOL how far back did they have to go to find a pic of clean shaven Beard? Can't have the (accused) domestic abuser looking unkempt!
  8. "The SEC was supposed to be about common values, gentleman's agreements..." may be my favorite collection of words that I've ever seen pulled from an aggy board. Just magnificent.
  9. Finally finished the series for the first time about a month ago. Obviously up there with my favorite shows of all time. I know the last season gets a bad rap, but the way they brought back key characters for brief final season cameos was as good as I’ve ever seen it done. None of them felt forced and they included damn near everyone I wanted to see.
  10. Assholes don't have the ability (or desire) to realize that they are being assholes.
  11. Footage from the dinner last night has apparently leaked:
  12. As per usual, Incredulity does not know the facts. https://ag.ks.gov/media-center/news-releases/2023/02/20/walgreens-announces-it-will-not-send-abortion-pills-into-kansas-after-receiving-letter-from-ag-kobach
  13. The immediate reaction by the right to pin it on Antifa is the biggest giveaway that this shit was BAD to every fucking person who was watching in real time. Funny how nobody seems to remember this. The "peaceful protest" was the pivot once the evidence against it being Antifa was too overwhelming to keep up the lie. Disgraceful, all of them.
  14. There are very few people who are currently doing more damage to the fabric of our nation than Tucker Carlson.
  15. I'm not a football expert by any means, but I have a sneaking suspicion that there were other players running routes as well on these plays. My gut inclination is that a freshman QB, struggling for the first time in his life, kept seeing his Freshman All-American roommate get open and felt that was his best option on each throw - logic, health, and historical results be damned. You can argue that it's Sark's job to break that stubbornness from his QB, but blaming the failures solely on play calling is a simple argument better found on texags. (And for the "he should have benched Worthy" crowd... I'm not sure if we are all remembering last season the same, but Casey fucking Cain played significant minutes. Don't think it's unreasonable to say that Worthy with a broken hand was likely a better option than whoever the fuck was next on the depth chart.)
  16. spoiler alert, his responses: Yes as many as they want, yes but only straight, yes if they voted for someone I disagree with
  17. "Cook is replacing Bijan" Please, continue to offer your expertise on the topic.
  18. So I, uh, understand the "joke" but am still having a bit of trouble understanding the choice of profile picture...
