  1. Yes, I'm just talking on offense.
  2. The most touches Bijan Robinson had in a game this year was 17. Alabama got Najee Harris 16 touches and DeVonta Smith 12 touches in the first half of the National Championship Game.
  3. They really just tried to have Tuf Borland cover DeVonta Smith. The Ohio State DC had Alabama and the over.
  4. Absolutely fucking hilarious if you think Joshua Moore is as good as DeVonta Smith
  5. DeVonta Smith is a Heisman winner so I'm not trying to compare the two as players, but the way Sark gets him open around the LOS makes me excited to see what he can do with Jordan Whittington.
  6. Ohio State may want to cover #6
  7. Other than it being the textbook definition of targeting I agree.
  8. The funniest thing is that these are the second and third most talented teams in the country based on the 247 talent composite. #1 is Georgia who got their shit pushed in by Alabama and Florida.
  9. Najee Harris is just so ridiculous.
  10. DeVonta Smith is just so ridiculous.
  11. At 6:35 here's Sark calling the same play he did on the last Smith TD with another Bama receiver.
  12. After watching Tom Herman look at a piece of paper that said "should we give Bijan Robinson more touches? Y or N" and circling "N" every time I enjoy watching Alabama give their best offensive player a lot of touches.
  13. The camera cuts to him and they think he's signaling in plays, but he's actually sending coded messages to Quinn Ewers to come to Texas.
  14. Considering that the Falcons offense has been WAY worse with Dirk Koetter than it ever was with Sark I'd imagine Sark would really enjoy interviewing Quinn.
  15. While there were a myriad of reasons Herman got the boot I think Ewers is one of the reasons he got canned. Brian Davis put out a tweet with some of CDC's justifications and they were: bowl game opt outs, this recruiting class not being great, 2022's class not looking good so far and the negative recruiting from some of the players on the team. The opt out thing is a load of shit because they won the bowl game by 30 points. This recruiting class wasn't going to change much either way because almost the entire class is signed and the negative recruiting is a problem for sure. If Texas was going to emulate a program to try and get back to the top it would be Alabama, Clemson or Ohio State and it had to be an offensive minded coach to try and get Ewers back in the mix. Ryan Day ain't leaving Ohio State and it's his offense even if Kevin Wilson is the OC. That leaves Sark and Tony Elliott. I think both are fine candidates honestly. I think it just boils down to Texas doesn't want to be Clemson in that Clemson is an overachiever. Clemson fashions themselves as the underdog who made good. That isn't Texas. Alabama and Texas are more philosophical fits and I think that's why Sark was the guy. I don't think it had anything to do with any of his work prior to coming to Alabama. I think CDC wants Texas to emulate Alabama if they can and that makes sense. If Sark can get Kyle Flood to come to Austin and fix the offensive line, gets the 2022 class going in a positive direction and the program shows signs of life early in the season I think we have a shot with Ewers. I wouldn't underestimate the family affinity for UT and the proximity to Austin vs Columbus. It's an uphill battle because Ohio State is just so far ahead of us as a program, but I'm staying optimistic that there's a chance.
  16. I assume this is to keep Bijan happy and if it keeps Bijan happy it keeps me happy (for now)
  17. I'm fine rolling with Ash for another year. Play calling and O-line are the areas we need to make sure are on point.
  18. Did Saban retire? "2020 Alabama (interim HC)" Saban had the Rona and missed the Iron Bowl
  19. He's so irrelevant now it would make sense. ESPN is saying we're targeting Sark. Feldman is dancing around it delicately. Chip went full Leroy Jenkins.
  20. how'd that end up going?
  21. Kirby is Mark Richt with a better bagman network.
  22. Yeah noted guy who knows stuff David Pollack
  23. Washington was a historically solid program that bottomed out after a legendarily bad hire in Tyrone Willingham. Sark ended up rebuilding the program to where they were at least a bowl team. He was also 7-19 vs ranked teams there and lost those games by an average of 23 points per game. And that's the nicest thing you can say about his head coaching resume.
  24. There's definitely going to be a QB competition in the spring and I'm pretty confident both quarterbacks are going to play early in the season. Given how much of an ass beating Tom Herman is taking in recruiting right now I think the perception that he didn't give a 4-star kid from Lake Travis a shot to win the QB job would be used against him. I have a feeling we're going to be very frustrated with our QB deployment next year.
