I know I'm a couple of pages late with this, but I want to add that Coleman probably gets the biggest pass from the last staff. One of the podcasts recently talked about how much Tom meddled in the WR room...something to the effect of "he played it in college so he wanted to control the room and every aspect of the position." Which further led into the complete whiffs we've had with recruiting WR. Pretty much said that WR offers were not allowed without Herman's approval, and that he drug his feet badly on them because he wanted to evaluate them himself.
Not sure about Flower Mound specifically, but kids/families on the West Coast have been flocking to Texas since August because of the CoVid shutdown on the West Coast. Hell, even NM athletes have been coming in since all sports in NM are shut down.
I have seen a copy of UTSA's schedule, and they are coming to a tournament at UT in March, along with Univ. of South Dakota and UTA. Fairly certain that's likely to change, but it's on the schedule they gave their athletes this past week. It also has a start date of Feb. 12-14.
Ya, so who is the DC? Connect the dots between Bo Davis, Blake Gideon and whoever it is. Cause no way the DC takes the job without approving of these position coaches.
I read it, it doesn't actually say anything other than the Lions and the Jags are kicking the tires on the possibility. Doesn't even say if he's interested or not.
The play calling for Thompson says all you need to know about Sam's health all year.
Thanks for your career Sam, appreciate all you've done...BUT, Thompson vs. Card should be a great battle this spring.
I’ve been in the conspiracy theory camp that this is all a ploy until after tOSU’s season is done. But now I have no flipping clue. One of the podcasts this week was discussing how men’s basketball having a good season may be the savior for TH. Essentially they said that Shaka was on the hot seat and close to being fired, but CDC chose to stick with him and now it looks like the right move. They said that could lead CDC to doing the same with Herman this year.
Bloody hell...in 2020 it’s possibly that Shaka Smart saved Tom Herman’s job. What a time to be alive!
Yep, and everyone thought it was just a comedy routine Herman had going on about not acknowledging his special team players by name. TH is just a stupid fuck, plain and simple.
Haha, whatever dude. I was passing on a quote, but if you feel like it was made up I don’t know what to tell you. Go back and listen to the show, or better yet, check his Twitter where he was asked about it later in the afternoon and doubled down and backed his info, and even gave a tad more detail.
