  1. you need the TO to setup the FG. If you wnt to talk, spike the ball.
  2. Mendoza in a zone
  3. Every play has to be followed up by soccer goal celebration.
  4. When Georgia substituted the whole team, doesn't MSU also get time to substitute?
  5. what is there to challenge?
  6. Wasn't that an OPI when he pushed the DB to make the catch?
  7. Georgia is bringing the blitz on almost every play. we better be ready to beat it.
  8. The announcers showed the kick a million times but didn't show that Oklahoma recovered it even if they happened to touch it first.
  9. I think the probability of winning with a 6 point lead (100% sure conversion) is higher than the probability of winning with a 10 point lead (at best 50% 4th down conversion and less than 50% chance of scoring a TD).
  10. makes no sense to go for it.
  11. The way I see is, if we win, we enjoyed the festivities before and after the game. If we lose, we at least enjoyed them before the game, and more importantly, we get to enjoy again prior to the next game. Until all our games are done with a close loss in a nearby bowl game.
  12. All this fan (villain?) fiction reads like the Big Cigar updates on Barking Carnival long time ago. People were eating it up until it proved to be mere storytelling loosely based on fanciful personal proclivities and navel gazing.
  13. If everyone knows you are running, at least get under the center and fall forward.
  14. OU got a free timeout for cheating on the clock?
  15. why go for 2? It is still early.
  16. Very strange opinion. academics: number 1 public school, one of the top overall. location: Berkeley by the bay, probably the top location overall. Athletics: 4th overall in Olympic medals (the top 3 are all California schools). other stuff: food, fun and nature, probably the top location overall football: the teams have sucked but they have their share of NFLers despite the university not caring about football. This discussion is about the overall university. According to this criterion, Berkeley may be number 1. (I live close to Stanford and would vote for Cal over it.)
  17. Vandy's offense looks like the good ones at KSU.
  18. 9/28/2025 BLIND ranking (1. win-loss record, 2. margin of victory, 3. points scored). Only 20 undefeated left, so added the 36 1 loss teams.
  19. 9/21/2025 BLIND ranking (1. win-loss record, 2. margin of victory, 3. points scored). Indiana moves to the top and Texas Tech drops to number 3. 30 undefeated teams left.
  20. Easiest also because those 3 schools have us as their first choice.
  21. Since these are still students, doesn’t the university have a limit on how many years you take to graduate? In’t it 5 years for bachelors and 2 years for masters? Also, you need to be pretty good in studies to get admitted to masters. So, a maximum of 7 years? If someone wants to do a PhD in addition or instead of masters, you have to be a very good student. In other words, being in a university should naturally limit the number of years one can spend there even if NCAA completely loses any say in the eligibility duration and hence cannot become a professional league of its own.
  22. This seems to be a general malaise across all social media. Almost every post that has a tiny bit of information starts with “I am astonished that …” or “It beats me …” to list a counterpoint to what they are going to say. Reddit and Quora are full of this pomposity. Just state your one bit of fact that you most likely picked up from an earlier comment in the same thread or when this was posted multiple times earlier and don’t act like you are special.
  23. Some of his articles on Barking Carnival were very funny. The obnoxious Clipper Cooper comes to mind.
