NC had been flirting with disaster all year. All 3 of their wins were by single digits. 6A playoffs could be really exciting this year, its more open than usual.
They played the exact same non-district last year. Duncanville, North Shore, and Longview. Duncanville can't even find a 6A team to play them in non-district most years, but SOC does it every year as a 5AD2. SOC HC Jason Todd is a Samples protege.
North Shore won that game last year 38-0. SOC wins its this year 41-31.
Credit where credit is due, people killed you for saying North Shore was down. They sure looked down yesterday.
Shout out to the defense, it's unfortunate that a great effort by them got wasted. Also shout out to Tre Wisner, who continues to be our most (only?) consistent player on offense.
I don't disagree with your overall point, but Dematrius Davis graduated from North Shore years ago, he's not even at Auburn anymore. The QB they're replacing now is Kaleb Bailey, who just graduated this past Spring.
Duncanville and SOC have really good coaches who run good programs. They'll have a knucklehead every once in a while (who doesn't?), but they do a really good job of minimizing that stuff. I've never felt that way about North Shore.
This is silly, why are you taking the ULM game out? Take the USF game out for Miller and he would've barely gotten over 500 yards rushing on the season.
Blue had more rushing yards on fewer carries, more touchdowns and more than double the receiving yards than Miller did. Miller hasn't been that great, Wisner would've took his job too.
