  1. If they want you to cook the dinner, at least they ought to let you shop for some of the groceries. Bill Parcells.
  2. So, just be the Browns?
  3. And Lundquist casually saying "palms are sweaty, Mom's spaghetti.".
  4. I'd bet on a touchdown. The public has been looking forward all off-season to this showdown with Smith to finally answer the question of who is the best WR in the nation.
  5. OSU is going to have no idea what to do when we roll out the Chattahoochee package.
  6. It'll come in handy if you're ever in an alternate timeline where we are insecure little bitches and want everyone to know about our 9 titles.
  7. Actually just looked it up- if we wanted to be like aggy and add any title awarded by anyone, including retroactively, we could add 1914, 41, 68, 77 and 81. Source - https://arquivo.pt/wayback/20160521052546/http://fs.ncaa.org/Docs/stats/football_records/2015/fbs.pdf Starts at page 107. It's funny because a couple of those "titles" are from the billingsley margin of victory calculation and the sagarin ELO chess formulas which awarded the 2 that aggy touts in addition to the legit 1939 title. Ok that's enough channeling of Randolph Duke for me today.
  8. Nixon handed DKR the 1969 trophy but your point is valid. 1970 title is way more valid than those aggy computer ones from a century ago that were "awarded" decades after the season.
  9. All those OU alums with their flashy degrees networking on the east coast. Dozens of them.
  10. When I watch high level women's volleyball I'm genuinely amazed at some of the athleticism and hand eye coordination they have. At no point do I ever think "shit, my middle aged mediocre athletic self could do that". Same with softball, track etc. Is it something fundamental to the game of basketball or do the youth leagues just funnel the uncoordinated tall ones to hoops?
  11. Livingstone in the WR rotation.
  12. The NBA should just give whatever percentage of the league they directly own to the players association. Here you go, make it work.
  13. I fucked a summer associate and it ended up costing me half my shit. Of course, that's because I married her. Live and learn.
  14. I'd be stunned if you could find tickets in the 200s at any point. I went in 05 and there was absolutely nobody selling and everyone trying to buy. Granted, that was pre electronic ticket days but the exact same situations apply as then. Also, prepare your 2 young sons to get yelled at-don't be expecting friendly banter.
  15. Wasn't that the game where the pirate left a fake game plan on the field after warmups for our coaches to find?
  16. You got that part right.
  17. Holy shit, I looked this up figuring it was one of those fluky stats where due to injuries and schedules Clark had only played a half game on the road so far this year. Nope- 2 for 35.
  18. I'm looking at some futures and the combo of arch winning Heisman and Texas winning NC is +3000. Now I'm not predicting that, but given that there is substantial overlap for the scenarios that cause both of those conditions to happen, I'm not sure that's a bad bet at those odds. Kind of like if they would let you parlay first half over and total over.
  19. Holy shit, that 4th paragraph. Whatever pr firm reviewed that really sucks.
  20. Hence why I said or would overseas sponsors step in and fill the gap. If certain overseas leagues can pay more than the WNBA and are presumably self supporting (unlike some leagues, cough cough) then there's obviously some base fan interest a sponsor might find appealing.
  21. I think the big question is would sponsors follow her, or would she pick up overseas sponsors to offset the loss. If it happened, I can already see the same players that hate her now accusing her of being selfish and abandoning the league.
  22. What would the Deloitte FMV be for a 5 star endorsing a kolache shop?
  23. This. All I could think of whenever the bachelorette talked was to feel sorry for the poor guy that married her. And that she was probably getting railed in Cozumel.
  24. Unfortunately, new Orleans is supposed to suck shit through a straw this year
  25. It was the 82 cotton bowl (81 season) and I don't know if I'd call a come from behind 14-12 victory a whipping, but I'll take it. Fun fact most announcers of Baylor Texas games hardly ever mentioned- the winning touchdown was scored by a guy whose son was not offered by UT.
