  1. Ryan Costello (R-Penn) on bloomberg crying that his constitutes kept asking him to respond to Trumps' behavior. He is retiring due to being asked so many questions by his district.
  2. 1.5lbs of pork bones. we went higher quality on the bones as we didn't trust the ones from H mart or other asian grocery stores. It was enough broth for 6 servings. want to try in a pot next time but that requires 12+ hours of cooking.
  3. Rumor mill' says Ryan headed for exit http://thehill.com/homenews/house/380365-nevada-lawmaker-rumor-mill-says-ryan-headed-for-exit
  4. @Bama Chick labradoodle. probably get another soon or similar type. damn expensive dogs ($3k+)
  5. I am my own boss so effectively stealing from myself
  6. Awful drinks and terrible queso but it is Monday
  7. I have been dying past few days. I usually don't take meds for allergies but this time may break me.

  9. rice cooker ftw. get an instant pot to make broth for noodle / pho dishes. Bought bones from central market and cooked for 2 hours. Just add onion, fish sauce, and salt.
  10. The worst of the political posters unfortunately made it over.
  11. Pody's BBQ Meh but was in the middle of nowhere and needed a fix. Would stop by and eat there again but wouldn't travel to try it. City Market Really has gone down in quality over the years imo or the bar has been raised a lot.
  12. A lot of Beto signs in Dallas.

  14. in no order and without much perspective this is my bbq tour Franklin Barbecue Visited 3+ years ago and was blown away. Every review you read is right but I refuse to go back due to the wait. Respect the BBQ but think for the wait kills its. Micklethwait Favorite spot but not best bbq. most creative and don't think the place gets enough love. I believe this place is the most interesting bbq place that I have been and would easily be the top spot that I would recommend to people. Love the sides and great cue. Every meat is good / interesting. This is new age BBQ Terry Blacks Good but not memorable. Would be a #1 if wasn't in Austin given the competition. No line and good but so much better in the city. They are a top 20 but again Austin is saturated with better BBQ. Cattlelack I am not a fan. I know the love and maybe was an off day but thought it was very average. Plan to revisit but don't understand the love of this place. I don't agree with the ranking of this place. Lockhart Worth a visit. Go for the sauage imo and believe the drive is worth it. Maybe oldschool but I like the small time towns and feels more right to me eating here than any other place. Will always be a favorite. Pecan Lodge If i had only1 BBQ place to eat, I would only go here. I think without a doubt this is the best place for price/ convenience / taste is my favorite spot. Easily top 5 BBQ but I see quality declining but my friends disagree. Kruez 4+ years ago so not sure I can opine but loved it. I brought family who had to drive 2+ hours and they were happy afterwards. I think these places should get more love because of their classic style. Hutchins I don't shit on BBQ but think this is good BBQ but I think very uninspired. Happy to eat here but wouldn't go out of my way. Louie Muller I would give my first born to have this BBQ served to me for life. Tejas Chocolate Craftory I wanted to hate this place but great brisket and very creative. Should get more love because the owners are very creative in their meats. I love the different style and see these players as innovating in the space.
